«Breaking News» GMB's Kate Garraway is mercilessly mocked for her streaky brown dress as viewers liken her to BACON

Kate Garraway has been mercilessly mocked for wearing a 'bacon' dress on Good Morning Britain. 

Taking to the daytime talk show's Friday instalment, the broadcaster, 51, was unaware that her streaky brown and white dress resembled the breakfast favourite. 

Immediately Kate was mocked by her co-hosts Ben Shephard and Charlotte Tobin for her choice of clothing, as well as amused viewers who didn't hold back in letting their opinions known.

Kate certainly didn't expect the light-hearted ridicule as she began hosting the show on Friday.

However, clad in a form-fitting striped brown and white number, she became the easy target for her co-hosts.

Charlotte brought it to her attention that tweets were being shared which likened her to rashers of bacon.

'A lot of people have been getting in touch with your outfit today. They say it looks like a slice of bacon,' she hilariously revealed. 

'Is that why all those dogs over there were slathering so much?' Ben quipped in before adding: 'There's a lot of drool in the studio!' 

Viewers went wild as they rushed to Twitter to make fun of Kate's dress:

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
