A Florida woman has livestreamed a video of herself taking her own life.
Merilee Joyce Turner, 53, of Cudjoe Key broadcast the troubling footage on Wednesday night, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said.
Turner died after several people viewed her wounding herself in real time, sheriff’s office spokesperson Adam Linhardt said.
At least one person called authorities, but they did not make it to her home in time.
'Foul play is not suspected,' Linhardt told the Miami Herald. 'We’re not looking for anybody. It’s obviously self-inflicted wounds but there could have been other factors involved.'
The video was removed from her profile by Facebook.

From the looks of Turner's remaining posts on her page, it appeared as though she was the life of the party.
Many images show her laughing and smiling wide, often surrounded by lots of other people.
Turner is listed on the account as having been in a relationship with Kevin Slamon, who is originally from Killashee, Longford, Ireland, since what appears to be at least February of 2017.
On December 23, Turner had updated her profile picture on the site to an older image of her, Slamon and another woman, first shared on July 21, 2017.
A selfie of the two shared on July 31, 2017, leaned up against on railing on what could be either a boat or a waterfront deck, was captioned, 'What a freaking great day!! [five red heart emojis]'

But Wednesday was not a great day for Turner, as it brought with it her final post on the social media site.
Someone who viewed the livestream where Turner ended it all called sheriff's deputies, one of whom watched the video as well.
After receiving he call, authorities responded to the home of Turner, who was known by friends as 'Mouse,' at around 10.15pm on Wednesday.
'EMS arrived moments later' and pronounced the woman dead, a sheriff's report said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
