«Breaking News» Emily Ratajkowski defends husband Sebastian Bear-McClard amid claims he's 'living rent free'

Independent movie producer Sebastian Bear McClard has been accused of using a 'legal loophole meant to protect struggling artists' to avoid paying rent on his New York City loft, according to The New York Post.

And his model wife Emily Ratajkowski took to Twitter on Monday to defend the filmmaker, claiming Sebastian is 'fighting the good fight' by not paying rent. 

'People thinking he’s rich is real nice but not based in fact,' wrote the Marc Jacobs model.

The Gone Girl actress continued her multi-post tirade, 'He was raised in the neighborhood he lives in now, both of his parents are artists who were priced out of their homes in downtown New York.'

'I moved in [with] him a year ago.'

'I’m proud he’s fighting the good fight against a real estate conglomerate that bought the building he lives in for 40 million and has continued to spread misinformation on its tenants in order to profit.'

'NYC has changed so much and it’s a shame that people who work in creative fields are being moved out of the city.'

Ratajkowski and her 38-year-old husband of a year are reportedly living rent-free in their downtown apartment thanks to The Loft Law.

The 1982 New York state prevents landlords from evicting artists and other low-income tenants who lived illegally in commercial loft spaces. 

The New York Post reported earlier this month that the Good Time producer allegedly owes his landlord $120,000 in rent.

Emily has an estimated net worth of $6million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com. 

In May 2018, the couple paid a whopping $2million for their Los Angeles home, according to Harper's Bazaar. 

Emily and Sebastian tied the knot at City Hall in Manhattan, New York on February 23, 2018 and surprised fans with the news on social media, with the model’s $199 mustard-coloured Zara suit being a hit.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
