«Breaking News» EastEnders' viewers shocked as Ruby is about to CASTRATE her rapist

EastEnders' fans were left reeling following Friday night's episode after Ruby Allen attempted to get revenge on Ross Swinden by castrating him.

Ruby, played by actress Louisa Lytton, is set to go to trial to face her rapist Matt Clarkson and his co-conspirator Ross after he sexually abused her after a high school reunion.

But taking matters into her own hands, Ruby drugged Ross before dragging him into a living room lined with black bin bags where she told him: 'There's only one thing I can do to make sure you never ever hurt a woman the way you hurt me.'

Ruby consensually had sex with Ross after they hit it off during a night out, but during the night woke to find his friend Matt on top of her and Ross beside her doing nothing to stop the attack.

Moments before Ruby could put her plan into place, her best friend Stacey and her husband Martin Fowler burst into the room after growing concerned for her safety.

After the couple realised what was going on when they noticed a kitchen knife laid on the ground, Martin shouted: 'Ruby, you can't cut his bits off.'

However during the episode Ruby didn't appear to be deterred by Martin's comments and replied: 'If I want any sort of justice I have to get it myself on my own. I'm not standing up in that court and being called a liar. I'm jot a liar. he owes me.'

Many social media users commended Louisa on the story line as they commented on her 'harrowing' speech about rape conviction rates.

One wrote: 'Louisa Lytton & Lacey Turner, as ever are just incredible... Ruby's speech about rape victims and the conviction rates was harrowing and sad. We need to do better #EastEnders.'

Elsewhere, EastEnders fans will be left on the edge of their seats as Stacey takes the stand to give evidence of her best friend's rape in upcoming episodes.

The highly-anticipated episode will see loyal friend and former bad girl Stacey, face a gruelling cross-examination as she takes the stand to support Ruby.

As she faces a tirade of questions regarding her friend's horrific rape last October, Stacey will be seen cracking under the pressure and on the brink of tears as she tries to recollect the night in question.

Taking the stand for the very first time since news of Ruby's rape following a drunken night out at the E20 surfaced, Stacey will be left facing the heat as she gives evidence in a court room.

The trial will also see rape victim Ruby face interrogation at the hands of her rapists' defence team.

The much-awaited trial, which will be aired on April 2, comes after businesswoman Ruby confided in Stacey that she was raped Matt, played by Mitchell Hunt, last year.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
