But EastEnders ex-star Harry Reid sent fans into a tailspin on Sunday, after he took to Instagram to post a hunky shirtless snap.

The 26-year-old actor - who was axed from the role of Ben Mitchell last year - sparked a slew of compliments from fans as he showed off his ripped torso in the bathroom selfie.

Despite show bosses announcing that his character will be replaced next week with actor Max Bowden, 24, Harry showed that he was only going from strength to strength.

Donning a pair of black jogging bottoms, a black cap and Calvin Klein pants, the actor showed the results of his endless hours spent working out in the gym.

Not one to hide progress, the star later took to Instagram to share his sultry pose with his 92,000 followers.

His post read: 'Cringe alert. I never do this, but progress is progress. Just don't take me seriously.'

Harry's racy photo sparked a slew of comments from fans, with many praising his hunky physique.

One fan wrote: 'Looking great. Well done on the hard work,' while another added: 'Baby you need to warn me before you post these things i need to emotionally prepare myself.'

Harry played the prominent face on the iconic BBC One drama set in London's east end for four years before leaving the soap in 2018, as Ben escaped to France with the stolen heist money.

Ben will now be played by Max Bowden, who previous played Justin Fitzgerald in Waterloo Road.

So far little has been revealed about Ben's return to Albert Square, though a recent trailer teased he will team up with dad Phil to rebuild the Mitchell empire.

Joining Ben upon his return will be former teen rebel turned doting mum Lola Pierce, though the role will continue to be played by Danielle Harold.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
