«Breaking News» Dorset police unwittingly offer tip for drug-smugglers at a public meeting

The pretty Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis would be the perfect place to smuggle drugs – according to a police watchdog.

Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens made the odd comments at a public meeting.

Miss Mountstevens said in Bristol: 'Our colleagues at the border agencies do phenomenal work …

'But if you look at all the ports that are around, we're an island. So if I was a drug dealer, I probably wouldn't go to Dover. I would go down to Lyme Regis or somewhere like that.'

In response, the clerk for Lyme Regis Town Council, John Wright, said: 'It is unfortunate the police and crime commissioner … specifically named Lyme Regis, particularly when there is no known evidence of drug smuggling into Lyme Regis.'

Miss Mountstevens has since apologised.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
