Speaking to Vanity Fair, screenwriter Lacey even revealed that celebrity wedding guests including George and Amal Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Victoria Beckham, and Idris Elba play a part in the movie.
Revealing her close ties with Meghan's Hollywood friends and explaining that the plot features a mix of truths and fiction, Lacey said: 'This film deals with the drama of planning a wedding: the moment you'd much rather elope, the moment your family might mess it all up - and they nearly do.'
Tiffany added: 'We got to do some stuff with Kate, which I really liked.
'I think one of the biggest things, obviously, about Meghan is that she's such a supporter of other women and women's empowerment. That was something I think was important for all of us to focus on, myself included.'

Admitting that the scenes surrounding Meghan's rift with her father Thomas Markle were hard to film as they made her question how hard it must have been for the Duchess to not have all of her family at the wedding, Tiffany said: 'The film definitely addresses a lot of the family drama.'
Speaking about her sources for the film, Lacey added: 'Some of the people I talk to are close to the royals. Others are Hollywood friends of Meghan, and others are journalists and experts in the royal field.'
The film will not include Meghan's babyshower, as production had finished before this took place.
Addressing the success of last year's flick, screenwriter Lacey even revealed that the royals didn't complain and reckons they had a 'good giggle' about it.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
