In February, Jenny took to Twitter to share her shock at being removed from the train seat to be replaced by Dean, and the story was met with fury from her fans.

However, hours later, the flame-haired star admitted she had forgiven the actor after he sent her a cupcake.

Detailing the incident, soap star Dean shared: 'The production crew asked her to move seats as we were filming the advert for Virgin Trains, and rented out a carriage.

'It was my 41st birthday on that day and I was gifted a box of cupcakes, so I didn’t know how much more I could have done but apologise to the lady and gave her one of the cupcakes.

He said: 'If I was ever to feature on Celebrity Chase, which I would love to do, then I think the writing is on the wall for Jenny to be the chaser. She’ll definitely get her own back if and when that happens.'

Dean boasts a long-running career in BBC's EastEnders, with his character Robbie Jackson storyline's being documented from when he was a fresh-faced teen.

Sharing his gratitude over maintaining his stint for nearly three decades, the London native gushed: 'It’s mad because it’s been 26 years since I first started the show as Robbie Jackson, so I’m entirely grateful.

'It’s paid for my life for the last 26 years. I feel like I’m part of its history, its current state and the future.'

Dean revealed he'd like to take on more weighty storylines with Robbie, who is known for his playful demeanor: 'The character is always there to bring light-hearted topics on the show, so it would be nice to do more hard-hitting stuff.'

The father-of-two also said viewers could potentially expect to see the former road sweeper return from India with a love interest:

'When Robbie comes back from India, who knows if I’ll come back alone, or with someone? Robbie is always to trying to look for love, but I hope at some point he gets a bit a luck.'

The former Bill star went on to praise the soap's new boss Kate Oates, and clarified reports about his co-stars 'fearing' being axed by the TV producer.

He explained: 'We’re going into a new era and we have to switch things up. Gone are the days that soaps get 21 million viewers each episode. When I first started, we were getting those figures every episode.

'TV has changed, our new boss Kate is doing perfectly. It’s about giving the audience what they want and making the show very powerful.

'We all have contracts, so everyone is scared whenever they’re contract is coming to an end, and you hope it’s renewed. It’s common sense, you’re only as good as your contract.

'There’s 800 people who work on EastEnders, everyone is in the same position. I’m grateful to still be part of as Kate has great ideas. She’s made her previous shows [Emmerdale and Coronation Street] very successful. She’s got some vibrant plans for Robbie.'

Best known for his work in the UK, the M.I. High star shared his delight over Britain's latest TV shows dominating audiences worldwide, and insisted he wouldn't like to crack Hollywood at this stage of his career.

'Everyone’s dream is to earn mega money, but you just need to know where you’re at. I have children here, so I just can’t up sticks and leave.

'I love this country, especially with what we’ve been doing here recently with shows like Bodyguard and Killing Eve. We’re chasing the hills of America.

'I’ve been lucky, fortunate and very blessed to be associated with a show I love dearly for 26 years. While that is still going on, I don’t think there’s any need to go to the other side, the grass isn’t always greener.'

Touching on the direction of their careers, the TV personality shared: 'With reality shows, it’s never been for them. They’re at an age where they’ve mapped out their life. We all love reality shows, they’re our guilty pleasure, but they’re just not that interested.'

Dean added he's glad the pair are avoiding the spotlight: 'They’ve got their full-time careers and their partners.

'With acting, they know the business has its dark side, and there’s time when you’re not in full-time employment. I think they know it’s a business where I’m extremely lucky to have been working for 26 years.

'For every one person, there’s a thousand people that aren’t working. I’m happy they’re in full time employment, and it’s a horrible cold world when you’re not working.'

Dean currently serves as the face for Virgin Trains' latest campaign, the (Toilet) Role of a Lifetime, in which the actor is helping launch the company's search for the new voice of their onboard talking toilets.

Sharing details about his role in the campaign, he shared: 'The campaign is a tongue-in-cheek idea and a parody of myself.

'With the advert, my acting career has dried up so I attempt to audition for a Shakespearean play, but I end up at an audition to be the voice of the box. After lacking a certain je ne sais quoi, I’m now helping with the audition process.

'Virgin are making the search more personable, a bit light-hearted and quirky. If you’re going on a train to Liverpool, you’d want to hear someone with a Liverpudlian accent. We’re looking for a witty voice with banter. We want someone to have sunshine in their voice, nothing monotone.'

Dean has launched Virgin Trains’ nationwide search to find new voices for their onboard talking toilets – this truly is the (toilet) role of a lifetime. Members of the public are invited to submit their audition here.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
