He's provoked the ire of viewers with his acid-tongued critiques and brutally honest commentary on Australia's revamped Dancing With The Stars.
But Craig Revel Horwood, 54, has defended his 'mean judge' persona on the show, insisting that he doesn't care what Australians think of him.
'I don't care whether people warm to me. I'm here to judge a dance show,' the professional dancer and choreographer told TV Week magazine on Monday.

'I don't think they get my sense of humour yet. I'm tongue in cheek, but very much to the point,' he added.
Indeed, Craig was slammed for his 'nasty, rude and downright insulting' jabs on Twitter during his debut appearance on the show's season premiere last month.
His lowest score on the evening was given to Karl Stefanovic's ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, shocking the other judges by raising a paddle with one point.
Not winning any fans here! Craig was slammed for his 'nasty, rude and downright insulting' jabs on Twitter following his appearance on Dancing With The Stars' season premiere last month
Craig told the former journalist without hesitation: 'It was all going well until the skirt came off and you started to dance and there, quite frankly, was the failure.'
Angry fans lashed out at Craig on Twitter, with one raging: 'There is nothing constructive in his comments. To say nothing nice about Cassandra is bloody ridiculous.'
Another claimed the show didn't need a 'villain' or 'nasty judge' and found his approach 'rude' and 'extremely brutal'.

'Craig your old bi*chy drama queen act is getting real old real quick. My finger now rests on the mute button on the remote whenever I see you about to speak,' one post read on social media.
Others suggested they'd prefer another judge step in to replace Craig, with one writing: 'If you don't remove him, people will turn off.'
The Bachelor host Osher Gunsberg even weighed in, saying: 'Good judge, good judge, nasty judge. The classic line up.'

'I expect nothing less than perfection. And while these celebrities might be famous in their own right, the dance floor is my domain so they better be ready to rumba.'
Craig served as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in the UK since 2004 and joined the Australian reboot of Dancing With The Stars earlier this year.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
