«Breaking News» Chilling video shows final moments of doomed Amazon flight over Texas as it plunges to the ground

This is the chilling moment the doomed Atlas Air flight plunges to the ground crashing into a Texas bay and killing all three men on board.

The final seconds of the Boeing 767, which was operating for Amazon Prime Air, were captured by a police security camera.

It shows the plane speeding overhead, appearing to be heading straight to the ground. It makes no visible attempt to change path as it plummets.

Moments later the jet nosedives before disappearing from view and landing in the shallow waters. A huge plume of debris and water can then be seen on the horizon.

A recording from the cockpit of the cargo plane suggests the pilots lost control while preparing to land at a Houston airport.

Sheriff Brian Hawthorne told The Houston Chronicle: 'For a lack of a better term, you can see it exploded — not by fire.'

The National Transportation Safety Board had temporarily blocked the video's release after police discovered it a day after the crash on February 23.

The NTSB says its preliminary review of the audio found that 18 seconds before the recording ends there were 'crew communications consistent with a loss of control of the aircraft.' The federal agency does not say why the crew may have lost control.

The Boeing 767 dropped into Trinity Bay killing the three people aboard after losing more than 3,000 feet of altitude in 30 seconds, according to tracking data from FlightAware.com

Capts. Ricky Blakely, 60, First Officer Conrad Aska, 44, and Sean Archuleta, 36, all died on board the doomed flight.

Archuleta was a new father and his friend Don Dalton, said his wife was 'devastated'.

He added: They just had their baby. I'm not an emotional guy, but this tore me up today. I lost a guy that I truly looked forward to opening the door and seeing. I miss the guy. I miss him already.'

Air traffic control had given the crew instructions to land on a runway at George Bush Intercontinental Airport before the plane smashed into the shallow bay about 40 miles east of the airport, according to the NTSB.

Investigators are still reviewing the audio and information from the flight's data recorder. The NTSB cautions its early findings may change.

The two-hour cockpit recording captures the final moments of Atlas Air Flight 3591, which was carrying packages from Miami for Amazon and the US Postal Service.

But the NTSB says the audio is difficult to discern at times and investigators have had to use 'advanced audio filtering' to make out some of what was said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
