«Breaking News» Boy mocks his father's northern accent (before cheekily having a go himself)

This is the hilarious moment a father with a strong northern accent is mocked by his adorable toddler son. 

In the short clip the little boy giggles as his father says words like chase, road, and path - until the two-year-old even gives the north Yorkshire accent a go himself. 

Each time the father says a word the toddler cannot contain his delight and chuckles away to himself.

After saying three words, much to his son's delight, the father smiles at the camera before it pans round to the child sitting on the floor.

The little boy then asks: 'Daddy can you say car on the road?'

The man smiles and pauses before saying 'car on't road' which makes his happy son rock back and forth as he laughs.

The cheeky lad even gives the accent a try at the end of the clip, making his parents laugh

He then decides to give the accent a try and says 'car on't road' and continues to laugh as his mother and father giggle behind the camera.

The hilarious clip was first posted online with the caption: 'You can take the boy out of Scarborough... #NorthVsSouth #AccentBattle #MuggedOffByATwoYearOld'

It has now been viewed more than two million times and hundreds of people have commented saying they loved the little boy's cheeky reactions.

One person wrote 'what a little legend he is' and another said 'this is absolutely brilliant.'

Others shared their own experiences with their children laughing at their or their families accents.

A mother wrote: 'My daughter does this to her dad. We are Mancs and he’s a Brummie.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
