Making an appearance on The Project, Ashley said: 'To have an industry say, ''Oh, this is the plus size model,'' - why do we have to describe a woman because of a number inside of her pants?'
'Why can't we just say her name, or her occupation and that be it? Men don't do that. They don't say my ''plus size friend whoever'',' she added.
Ashley then said she's looking forward to the day where she doesn't have to speak about her size in interviews.
'To have an industry say, ''Oh, this is the plus size model,'' - why do we have to describe a woman because of a number inside of her pants?' she said on The Project on Thursday
'I'm looking forward to that day. Because I am the first of so many things, I'm going to have to talk about this for the rest of my career and that's okay because I didn't have a role model growing up that looked like me,' she said.
The brunette added that the conversation needs to shift away from just discussing the topic, but rather showing action.
'The call to action is to just do it and not talk about it.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
