«Breaking News» Alex Rodriguez was warned 'not to mess JLo around' as it's revealed they go everywhere together

Alex Rodriguez is making sure he treats Jennifer Lopez right.

Apparently the MLB alum, 43, was told he had to treat the triple-threat like 'American royalty,' according to a 'longtime friend' who spoke to Page Six.

The insider told the publication that he warned Alex: 'Whatever you do, you cannot mess her around... If you split up for any reason, she has to be the one to dump your a**!'

And another source said that A-Rod was holding true to his word, telling Page Six the pair are 'so respectful to each other' and that both love supporting each other at their respective jobs.

The longtime friend told Page Six that he made it clear that the former Yankee had to make Jennifer feel special.

'I said, "This lady is like American royalty. Whatever happens, you cannot treat her badly. If you split up for any reason, she has to be the one to dump your a**!" 

He continued, admitting everything worked out for the newly engaged couple.

'It's a lot of pressure on someone to date Jennifer Lopez! But they both fell in love.'

And their relationship seems to be full of that love in addition to a mutual 'respect.'

Likewise, when she was doing her [All I Have residency] in Vegas, he would fly in. He was at almost every show. The support level is incredible.'

The insider's description was a far cry from the philandering picture baseball retiree Jose Canseco tried to paint of A-Rod recently.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
