Donald Trump slammed Democrats and blamed their 'new low' interview of lawyer Michael Cohen as the reason that the nuclear summit in Vietnam failed - after initially stating that he walked away from a 'bad deal' put forth by Kim Jong-un.
The President took to Twitter to lambaste the party and Thursday's congressional hearing of Michael Cohen, which consisted mostly of Democrats asking questions pertaining to Trump and Republicans questioning the lawyer's credibility.
'For the Democrats to interview in open hearings a convicted liar & fraudster, at the same time as the very important Nuclear Summit with North Korea, is perhaps a new low in American politics and may have contributed to the "walk."' Trump said on Twitter. 'Never done when a president is overseas. Shame!'

Last week in Hanoi Trump and Kim met for the second time to try to negotiate a deal that would surrender some of North Korea's nuclear weapons arsenal in return for sanctions relief.
At the same time in Washington, Trump's former aide Cohen was testifying before the U.S. House of Representatives´ Oversight Committee, accusing Trump of ordering his personal attorney to make threats for him about 500 times over the last 10 years.
When asked about Cohen's testimony at a press conference on Thursday in Hanoi after Trump had abruptly decided to end the summit with Kim early, the president called the allegations 'incorrect' and criticised the decision to have the hearing while he was away.
'I tried to watch as much as I could,' Trump said. 'I wasn´t able to watch too much because I´ve been a little bit busy, but I think having a fake hearing like that and having it in the middle of this very important summit is really a terrible thing.'

Initially, Trump appeared on Fox News and told Sean Hannity that he and the dictator could not come to an agreement on what North Korea would have to do to ease sanctions.
'Well, they wanted to denuke certain areas and I wanted everything,' Trump told Hannity.
'And the sanctions are there and I didn't want to give up the sanctions unless we had a real program. And they're not ready for that and I understand that fully, I really do. I mean, they spent a lot of time building it and that doesn't mean the world has to be happy,' Trump said.
Sarah Sanders says Trump walked away from a 'bad deal' with North Korea because he 'didn't want to make the same mistake Obama did with Iran'
The sentiment was reiterated by Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who placed an emphasis that Trump was walking away from a 'bad deal.'
'Well, they wanted to denuke certain areas and I wanted everything,' Trump told Hannity
She tweeted: 'President Obama refused to walk away from a bad deal with Iran. President @realDonaldTrump refuses to make the same mistake with Iran, North Korea, or anybody else. President Trump will always put the safety of the American people above politics.'
Trump claimed Thursday that North Korea was 'not ready' to meet the United States' conditions in order to reduce the sanctions imposed on the country.
North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho contradicted Trump and asserted that the break down came when the United States 'insisted that we should take one more step' beyond the pledge to abandon Yongbyon - where the country has Plutonium and Uranium facilities.
'I tried to watch as much as I could,' Trump told reporters about Thursday hearing. 'I wasn´t able to watch too much because I´ve been a little bit busy, but I think having a fake hearing like that and having it in the middle of this very important summit is really a terrible thing'
'Therefore it became crystal clear that the United States was not ready to accept our proposal,' he stated.
Trump's longtime fixer, Michael Cohen, claimed in congressional testimony that Trump ordered him to silence two women threatening to go public with affairs.
Cohen said that a $130,000 payoff to one of them, former adult film actress Stormy Daniels, was chump change to a billionaire like Trump.
In his testimony, Cohen acknowledged he did not witness or know directly of collusion between Trump aides and Russia but had his "suspicions."

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
