Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, warned Sunday there is 'significant evidence of collusion' and that President Donald Trump's team should wait and see Robert Mueller's findings before declaring the president vindicated.
'There's a difference between compelling evidence of collusion and whether the special counsel concludes that he can prove beyond a reasonable doubt the criminal charge of conspiracy,' he said on ABC's 'This Week.'
'The investigation is a criminal investigation. Congress's responsibility is very different, and that is, it's our responsibility to tell the American people these are the facts. This is what your president has done, this is what his key campaign and appointees have done, these are the issues that we need to take action on, this is potential compromise,' he noted.

Schiff also warned President Donald Trump's team should wait and see Robert Mueller's findings before declaring the president vindicated
Schiff, whose committee is leading its own investigation and who's brought in a cast of Trump characters to testify, downplayed arguments from Republicans Trump has been vindicated.
Mueller does not plan any more indictments out of his investigation, it was reported, leading to cheers from Republicans, who took it to mean President Trump and his family were safe from prosecution.
Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani on Saturday to Schiff: 'I trust he is relieved there is no collusion. And I hope he will apologize for his mistake. We all make them. The real virtue is to admit it. It would help us heal.'
Schiff pushed back at the former Mayor of New York City.
'I think Mr. Giuliani would be wise to wait until the report is made public before making any pronouncements about vindication. And likewise, people should wait to determine just how incriminating it is,' he said.
He reminded people that it is the policy of the Justice Department not to indict a sitting president.
'We know the special counsel was not permitted to indict a sitting president and we ought to see what evidence he produced, both on the issue of conspiracy as well as on the issue obstruction of justice. So Mr. Giuliani would be wise to do something he has rarely done and that is wait until we see the facts,' he said.
He also pointed out 'about six people close to the president have been indicted. That hardly looks like vindication to me. But again, let's see what the report has to say.'
He argued if Trump's supporters are so confident Mueller's report will exonerate the president, they should support releasing it to the public.
'If they're so confident that the report is going to exonerate them, they should fight to make that report and the underlying evidence public and available to Congress. But I suspect that we'll find those words of transparency to prove hollow, that in fact they will fight to make sure that Congress doesn't get this underlying evidence,' he said.
Schiff argued 'there is significant evidence of collusion.'
Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani argued that no additional indictments from Mueller means President Trump has been vindicated
He pointed to the infamous Trump Tower meeting in June of 2016 when then-campaign manager Paul Manafort, Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner met with a lawyer with ties to the Kremlin who claimed to have information on Hillary Clinton's campaign.
He also referred to former FBI director James Comey's allegation that President Trump asked him to ease off a federal investigation of then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and his meetings with Russian officials.
And finally, Schiff cited Roger Stone's alleged conversations with WikiLeaks about emails hacked from the Democratic National Committee via Guccifer 2.0.
He also said it was a mistake for Mueller's team not to interview Trump in person.
'It was a mistake to rely on written responses by the president, that is generally more what the lawyer has to say than what the individual has to say. I can certainly understand why the lawyers like Giuliani were fighting this, because the president is someone who seems pathologically incapable of telling the truth for long periods of time,' he said.
Schiff's comments echo those of House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler, who said Sunday that there was collusion in the 2016 election and vowed Democrats will continue their investigation as to whether President Donald Trump or anyone on his campaign team worked with Russia.
'We know a lot of things and maybe it's not indictable, but we know there was collusion,' he said on 'Fox News Sunday.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
