«Breaking News» Texas barber offers free condoms with every haircut - but accidentally staples HOLES in them all

A barber in Texas was so confident in his skills, he offered his clients a free condom with every haircut, bragging that they'd 'need it' after his services.

But he apparently failed to see the (actual) hole in his plan - when he STAPLED the contraceptives to his business cards.

Barber Jake Gamez, 23, of Fade Away Barbershop in the city of Beeville, tweeted photos of the promotional stunt, writing, 'Gotta include one of these with every card! You’re going to need it after I cut your hair. Trust me.'

Twitter users immediately pointed out the potentially life-altering error, while others quipped that it was actually a genius business strategy.

Referencing the condom, Jake wrote, 'Gotta include one of these with every card! You’re going to need it after I cut your hair [barber pole emoji, first place medal emoji] Trust me [pair of hands raised in celebration emoji]'

'He trying to lock up the child hair cut market too,' verified Twitter user DJ Hella Yella wrote on Sunday.

Another joked: 'This guy knows business. Step one - cut hair. Step two - client uses condom. Step three - cut clients hair then cut child’s hair. Step four - rinse and repeat.'

Twitter users immediately responded with jokes, many of which praised the potential business strategy of creating new clients for Jake Gamez (pictured), who works at the Fade Away barber shop in the city of Beeville

Jake seemed to agree, retweeting another similar comment from another user, who wrote: 'This guy knows business. Step one - cut hair. Step two - client uses condom. Step three - cut clients hair then cut child’s hair. Step four - rinse and repeat'

Some quipped that the move was a bit drastic.

'I mean, if you want them to bring you new clients, you could just ask them for a referral.. [loudly crying face emoji, loudly crying face emoji, skull emoji],' verified user Zellie Imani wrote.

One witty Twitter user implied Jake was just looking out for the long-term financial well-being of his clients.

Others had jokes about how his haircutting skills might be subpar, if he was going around poking holes in condoms, willy nilly.

'I don’t want Jake holding a razor anywhere near me,' a Twitter user identified as Paige said.

Jake quoted that last tweet, writing plainly, 'Rude.'

Jake tactfully avoided commenting on whether his actions were intentional or not, simply retweeting users who implied it was all part of his plan.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
