«Breaking News» Tamara Ecclestone kicks off daughter Sofia's fifth birthday with sweet montage

She is a doting mother who is known for pulling out all the stops to mark her daughter's milestones.

And Tamara Ecclestone shared a touching Instagram montage in celebration of Sophia's fifth birthday as she enthused 'these years have been the best of my life' on Sunday.

The 34-year-old F1 heiress, who shares her child with husband Jay Rutland, revealed the treats started early for Fifi as she gifted her bundle of joy with a personalised princess-inspired pillow, emblazoned with the words: 'When I wake up, I will be 5'.

In the sweet slideshow, the TV personality shared a series of throwback images of Sofia as an adorable tot.

The socialite captioned the short clip: 'Happy Birthday Fifi thank you for choosing me to be your mumma. 

'You are the most kind, caring, brave, hilarious, fearless little girl we are so proud of you. The past five years have flown they have been the best years of my life. I will never let you down.'

On Saturday, the brunette delighted Fifi with a trip to The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice at Wembley's SSE Arena.

The former model also treated her social media followers to a glimpse of Sofia's birthday preparations as she shared a snap of her daughter's pink-themed decorations, a series of presents and a three-tier L.O.L. Surprise cake.

Kicking off her special day with a bang, the reality star's sister Petra, 30, treated her niece to The Greatest Showman-inspired cupcakes for breakfast, with Tamara penning: 'Thank you @petraecclestone for our cupcake breakfast #fifisgreatestshow'.

Earlier this month, Tamara revealed she does not understand the hysteria surrounding her decision to breastfeed her daughter until she was four. 

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, she divulged details of life in the Ecclestone-Rutland household as she re-launched her charity Tamara Gives Back, in which she auctions her clothes to benefit Great Ormond Street Hospital. 

The star, who has spent years raising money to help children with life-threatening and life-limiting diseases, gushed about her beloved daughter and her decision to breastfeed her until recently - which has long caused controversy. 

Tamara has always been candid about breastfeeding the tot until she was ready to stop and frequently shared shots while feeding her beloved daughter.

Speaking to MailOnline during an intimate chat at Mayfair's Claridge's Hotel, the kind-hearted and gracious star discussed the end of her breastfeeding journey.

She said: 'Fifi stopped in summer time and she'd already started to cut down and I knew it was coming. I didn't want it to be a thing and it happened so naturally. We didn't talk about it and it happened on her timetable and that's how I like to parent... 

'I don't believe in training, like sleeping or potty training and that's always worked for us. I knew when she was ready and because it was so gradual it was such an amazing journey. I really didn't expect the hysteria around it...

'The first time it happened we were breastfeeding on the beach with no one around and I said to Jay take a picture and there was this huge uproar and people fighting and getting aggressive about a picture!... 

'When that happened I knew every time I did this it would happen but I was not going to let that stop me so I continued...

'There was such a circus around it so I thought... let me use this platform. People messaged me saying I gave them confidence to stand up to people asking them to stop and people came up to me and told me their stories.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
