«Breaking News» Royal commentator believes rumours of Meghan being 'Duchess Difficult' are TRUE

Reports of the Duchess of Sussex being 'difficult' are 'probably true', a royal expert has said.

Robert Jobson has built up a deep understanding of the royal family after years covering them as an author, journalist and broadcaster.

In an exclusive interview with Yahoo News' Royal Box, Mr Jobson said he thought rumours surrounding Meghan's behaviour are likely to be based on some fact.

He added there has 'clearly been some confrontation' between the Duchess of Sussex and her sister-in-law Kate, although it is not possible to say over what.

'I think that most of the stories that have been written about them are probably true otherwise Kensington Palace would have come down on them like a tonne of bricks,' he said. 'I think most of it's probably true.'

One such report suggested Meghan had reacted badly when she was told she could not wear her first choice of tiara on her wedding day.

The Queen is said to have 'words' with Prince Harry over 'difficult' Meghan, who was left disappointed when she could not wear an emerald tiara because the gems might have come from Russia.

While the story was widely reported, Mr Jobson said he doubted the Duchess would have been the root of the issue.

Mr Robson said Prince Harry being 'overly protective' and 'overly defensive' of Meghan is likely to have been behind reports that the Duchess was 'difficult' in choosing a wedding tiara

The Duchess of Sussex has debuted some beautiful pieces whilst in Morocco, ranging from Aritzia and Alice + Olivia to Dior and Valentino. But this time she has shopped her pre-duchess days wardrobe!

Her khaki jacket is by J.Crew, and we love the utility aesthetic, which makes for a great off-duty staple. The cotton canvas fabric means it's perfect for layering so it can be worn all-year round, and we love how Meghan has teamed it with a striped knit, skinny jeans and black boots.

We first spotted her wearing it back in 2016, so of course it has since sold out, but click (right) to take a closer look.

Or check out the Meghan-inspired options in our edit below. This Troy London jacket has been worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, or if you're a mum-to-be too, this H&M Mama parka will do the trick.

'I don't think Meghan was being difficult when she was picking out a tiara, I think Harry was probably being overly defensive and overly protective,' he said.

Another story emerged that suggested Kate was left 'in tears' after Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress fitting.

On this, Mr Jobson reasoned: 'Whether or not there were reports Kate cried over the way her daughter, I don't know if that's true or not but there's clearly been some confrontation.'

The royal commentator also echoed the views of other insiders who claim it is unfair to paint Prince Harry as the rebel and his older brother as 'Captain Sensible'.

'We love to paint Harry as the rebel and William as Captain Sensible but it's not like that at all,' he said.

'I think a lot of the time when William was smashed out of his head that the reports never got in the papers.

'But Harry would be outside having a go at the photographers and that would make it into the papers.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
