«Breaking News» RHONY's Sonja Morgan says she isn't 'happy go lucky' after emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy

Her financial struggles have been part of the storyline of Bravo reality show Real Housewives Of New York.

And talking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday night, Sonja Morgan pushed back when a caller to the program asked if she is 'happy go lucky' now that she's emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Morgan, 55, said: 'Well, not happy-go-lucky. I have an 18-year-old to get through college. But I'm out of my Chapter 11 reorganization, which means I paid 100 percent on the dollar.'

Morgan filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2010 and five years later, was able to emerge from it having settled her financial obligations.

She had turned to the legal process after going into debt to the tune of $19.8 million. 

She has a daughter Qincy, 18, from her marriage to John Adams Morgan, which ran from 1998 to 2006.

Earlier this month, Morgan gave Bravo a tour of her new two-bedroom apartment in Manhattan that she shares with her daughter after renting out her five-bed, five-bath, 4,650-square-foot Lenox Hill townhouse for $32,000 a month.

The new digs are on the 12th floor of a high-rise in the Columbus Circle neighborhood.

'Every room in this apartment has a tremendous view, which I thought I'd never find after having that at the townhouse,' she explained as cameras rolled. 

'I love the balcony! As you know, at the townhouse I had a beautiful garden and here I have a slice of life from home,' she said. 'I have my plants, my herbs, my strawberries, mint, basil - everything I need to cook at home.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
