Some $500,000 in jewelry was stolen out of a car belonging to rapper Young Dolph as it sat in the parking lot of an Atlanta-area Cracker Barrel in broad daylight.
The 33-year-old artist from Memphis, Tennessee, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr, was eating lunch at the chain restaurant on Wednesday when someone came in and informed him that someone had broken the window of his custom camouflage Mercedes-Benz.
Among the stolen items were a $230,000 Richard Mille watch, two diamond chains worth an estimated $57,000 and $27,000, a Patek Philippe watch worth $85,000 and two pairs of Cartier sunglasses worth $24,700.
Police found surveillance footage of the break-in, which they described as 'unusual'. No suspects have been arrested.

Police found surveillance video of the break-in outside a Cracker Barrel in Fairburn (pictured). A police spokesman described the circumstances surrounding the crime as 'unusual'
Fairburn Police Department Assistant Police Chief Anthony Bazydlo told WSB-TV the suspects could be seen in the video going to the vehicle three separate times, and that they didn't appear to break the window until the third visit.
Bazydlo said investigators noticed that when Dolph first exited his vehicle, the tail lights flashed three times indicating that it was being locked or unlocked.
'That's interesting to us in terms of what was happening with the vehicle,' he said. 'Was it being locked? Unintentionally unlocked? We don't know.'
Along with the jewelry, the thieves allegedly stole a Glock handgun, a Pirelli backpack, an iPad, and a $3,000 MacBook, a pair of AirPods and $2,000 in cash.
This is hardly the first time Dolph has been the victim of criminal activity.
In February 2017 his vehicle was shot at more than 100 times in a drive-by in North Carolina. The incident inspired his hit single '100 Shots'.
Months later, the rapper nearly died in September 2017 after having been shot in front of a store on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti was later charged in connection with that shooting.
Dolph has had four albums reach the Billboard Top 100, including his debut album King of Memphis in 2016.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
