«Breaking News» Pregnant Alex Jones left red-faced as Matt Baker appears to ask a VERY rude question on The One Show

After nine years of hosting The One Show, she's encountered many awkward on-air moments.

Yet Alex Jones was left incredibly flustered during Thursday's episode of the BBC show as she mistakenly believed co-host Matt Baker had asked a guest about their genitalia.

The blunder happened as the pair chatted with Valerie Singleton, who hosted Blue Peter for 10 years.

Speaking about her time on the children's show, Matt turned to Valerie, 81, and asked 'where do you keep your badge?'

But Alex misheard the last part of the question, and clamped a hand over her mouth as she squealed: 'It sounds so rude'.

Undeterred, Valerie responded: 'I've got a lovely big board with loads of badges on it' which lead to Alex collapsing in a heap of giggles.

Another guest on the show, Laurence Fox, also looked sheepish, as Matt quickly threw to the credits to end the show.

Earlier in the chat, Laurence had the team laughing as he joked that he would 'steal' money from his mother.

The star got irate discussing coin sorting machines at supermarkets, after revealing that they take 11 percent of the money you put in.

His comments came after he divulged details of the crippling financial side to his 2016 divorce from wife Billie Piper.

The 40-year-old actor spoke to The Times, as he branded the split 'hor-rend-dous' and admitted he misses the 'large bank account' he shared with his then-wife, with whom he has sons Winston, 10, and Eugene, six.

In the candid chat, Laurence, best known for his previous role on Lewis and being part of the Fox acting dynasty, admitted he used 'time, forgiveness and compassion' to help get him through the painful and pricey split.

Laurence said: 'It was quite a drastic life change. Goodbye, money! Goodbye, wife! Argh! But that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger, doesn't it? Obviously, you miss the large bank account but that's not everything.'

He admitted the legal bills ate into the money he had reserved for his kids' education and revealed he got through the split with 'time, forgiveness and compassion'.

Meanwhile, Alex is currently expecting her second child with husband Charlie Thompson, with the loved-up couple already parents to two-year-old son Teddy.

Alex previously documented her struggle to conceive for a second time.

She told The Sun: 'I suppose I'm older now, but we took it for granted that it would be OK. But you don't really know until you start trying how it's going to go, do you?

'The majority of couples I know have had something, not always IVF, but some problem that needs to be sorted out.

'Suddenly you see someone pregnant or with a newborn and you don't really hark back to what happened before because everyone's just delighted there's a baby.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
