«Breaking News» Pit bull belonging to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott could be euthanized

A dog belonging to Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott could be euthanized later this moth after it escaped from the star's home and bit a neighbor.

The pit bull, named Icon, escaped from Prescott's home in Frisco, Texas, with another dog, and the pair were spotted fighting with a third canine through a fence by a local resident.

The neighbor was bitten by Icon as he tried to pull the trio apart on February 25.

The woman was rushed to hospital by the Frisco Fire Department and was said to have suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Officers captured both loose dogs and discovered they had escaped the Cowboys star's home through an 'unsecured door'. Prescott was not home at the time, police said.

Identified as the culprit, Icon was taken to the Collin County Animal shelter where he has been held in quarantine for the past 10 days.

His projected stay at the facility expired as of Thursday morning, but the dog will stay in detention as the case has now been referred to Frisco municipal court, who will hold a hearing on Wednesday to determine if he's a 'dangerous dog'.

According to Frisco city law, a 'dangerous dog' is one who 'makes an unprovoked attack on a person that causes bodily injury and occurs in a place other than an enclosure in which the dog was being kept'.

If the court rules the dog to be a threat, a number of consequences can result.

The NFL star could be forced to pay up to $100,000 in damages to the victim, depending on the severity of her injuries

One possible outcome is that the dog has to be registered with animal control and kept on a leash when outside of its enclosure, and Prescott may be forced to pay up to $100,000 in damages to the victim.

But if the injuries to the female resident are deemed to be severe, Icon may be euthanized.

Prescott owns two other dogs, a pit bull named Legend and a French bulldog named The GOAT, who appeared alongside the quarterback in a commercial for Greek yogurt last year, Dallas News reported.

A Dallas Cowboys spokesperson couldn't be reached for comment.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
