Heartbreaking: Paul Young admitted his home feels 'empty' without his late wife Stacey as 80s singer shared his grief over losing her to brain cancer during Monday's Loose Women
He said: 'I thought it [doing the tour] might be putting things off, when I go home it feels empty but you get used to it again.'
Paul noted seeing his 'close knit family' on a 'regular basis' has been one of the best strategies for coping with his wife's death.
He said Layla, 25, is still at home and his university student son Grady, 23, relies on him a lot while Levi, 32, has spread her wings and has a lifelong partner of her own.

Sad: Stacey (1989, Malibu Beach), who appeared in the video for Paul's second single Come Back And Stay, died aged 52 in January last year following a two-year battle with brain cancer
Paul said: '[I've been] coping good. We're a close knit family, we see each other on a regular basis.'
Stacey received her diagnosis when she and Paul had been married for 30 years; the same year that the musician turned 60.
They were married in a romantic ceremony in 1987 and the married couple raised their three children together.

While the couple didn't divorce, they did split in 2006; Stacey welcomed her fourth child Jude, 12, with Israeli businessman Ilan Slazenger during that time.
However, Stacey and Paul decided to give their love a second chance when they reconciled in 2013, with the rocker becoming a stepdad to Jude.
Elsewhere in the interview, the singer also enthused he loves extending a helping hand to his children when he can as it makes him feel like 'a dad again'.

'Not so much help needed for Levi, she has a lifelong partner who she has been with since she was 17. Layla is at home and Grady is at uni.
'He's smart but absent minded. He's lost his car keys, both sets. I've got to go buy them again. Makes me feel like a dad again.'
Ahead of his tour, Paul said he had to keep his fitness levels up as well as practicing singing any time he can including in the car because the work is 'non stop'.

Separated: While the couple didn't divorce, they did split in 2006 (February 1996, London); Stacey welcomed her fourth child Jude, 12, with Israeli businessman Ilan Slazenger
He elaborated: 'You have to try keep the fitness up... I've got 17 days here. I'm going to Europe first. Then down to Japan for a few days. Then there's the summer festivals. It's pretty non-stops. Just sections of three-four days break.'
Prior to his Loose Women appearance, Paul admitted he is finally in the 'right place' now a year on from Stacey's death.
‘We’ve marked a year now it’s been, since she passed on,’ he told The Daily Mail's Event magazine. ‘I think that’s quite an important landmark. We’re all in the right place now.’

Helpful: Elsewhere in the interview, the singer also enthused he loves extending a helping hand to his children when he can as it makes him feel like 'a dad again'
‘Emotionally you’re all over the place,’ He added. ‘But I decided, “I have to go out on the road, I’ve got to earn money because I don’t know what I’m going to have to pay for, I don’t know what’s ahead of me.” ’
Music, specifically performing, was therapeutic in dealing with the anguish of his partner becoming increasingly ill.
‘It helped,’ he exhales. ‘It really helped.’

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
