A blaze moved so quickly through an apartment building on Long Island, a woman was forced to risk dropping her baby from the second floor, as well as herself, in order to escape.
The fire ripped through the Colony Park Apartments in Ronkonkoma, New York, early Sunday morning close to 1 a.m., according to News 12 Long Island.
Jenna Schlick was with her 20-month old daughter Julia and husband James in a building that fully engulfed in the inferno by the time first responders arrived.
She had to drop Julia from the second-floor balcony to her husband below after he had jump first. Then Jenna dropped down to the ground as well.

Jenna said that letting her young daughter go from the second-story balcony was 'the scariest moment in her life.'
'This was my apartment complex last night. Luckily i was able to get my wife and baby out to safety,' James Schlick posted on Facebook with a link to the news article of the event.
'We had to jump off the balcony during the raging fire and tons of smoke. I was the "innocent bystander" that caught my baby,' he concluded with a flexed bicep emoji.
Other residents in the building were even luckier, getting warned before they could be trapped by flames.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
