«Breaking News» MKR judge Colin Fassnidge SLAMS Veronica and Piper's rocky road cookie

Sunday night's episode of My Kitchen Rules saw teams compete to have their own biscuit sold in Coles stores nationally.

And NSW beauty queens Veronica and Piper were slammed by the judges, after presenting a lacklustre white chocolate rocky road cookie.

Judge Colin Fassnidge described the banana and cornflake component as an 'absolute car crash,' while Pete Evans said it was 'childish in its approach.'

Veronica, 41, and Piper, 35, decided to make a white chocolate rocky road cookie, with a side of deep-fried bananas coated in cornflakes.

The pair had 90 minutes to prepare the dish for the judges, as well as passersby at a shopping centre in Sydney.

Judges Colin and Pete did not hold back when it came time to deliver their verdict.

'Mate, you were on a rocky road,' Colin, 45, directed at both Veronica and Piper. 'Your bench looked like there had been a break-in.'

Referring to the deep-fried bananas coated in cornflakes, the Irish chef said: 'The banana and cornflakes (was) an absolute car crash. The banana and cornflakes fried and then (served) with the cookie. You need respite from the sweetness and the fat.'

'The marshmallow wasn't right. It tasted a bit funny,' he continued. 'Marshmallow is not meant to be sticky like that.'

Pete, 46, agreed with Colin's critique, saying: '(The dish was) very childish in its approach. It fell flat for me.'

The harsh critique led to Veronica and Piper falling to the bottom of the leader board and receiving a penalty.

However, it was a very different story for South Australian friends Lyn, 60, and Sal, 52.

The pair impressed the judges with their chocolate marshmallow cookie, and will have their creation sold in Coles stores nationally.

My Kitchen Rules continues Monday 7.30pm on Channel Seven

Judge Colin Fassnidge described the...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
