Megan McKenna's ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks admitted he has 'briefly spoken' to the grieving star following the death of her former beau Mike Thalassitis.
The TOWIE star revealed his former co-star ex girlfriend, who broke her silence on the news on Monday, is 'taking time to process' the horrendous news after he was found dead in a woodland by his north London home on Saturday morning.
Appearing on Loose Women, Pete said: 'I've spoken to her very briefly and I think Megan needs time to process what's happened it was a big shock for everyone, especially for Megan. She'll be OK it's tough for anyone to deal with'.

Mike passed away aged 26, with Metropolitan Police confirming that he was found hanged near his Edmonton home in tragic news which came to light hours later.
After a stoic and understandable silence, Megan released a statement on Twitter on Monday afternoon to offer condolences to his family, two days after Mike's death.
She wrote: 'Sorry I haven't been on social media but I'm in complete shock and trying to come to terms with this. I can't believe I'm even writing this post. My thoughts and prayers are with Mike's family. Rest in peace Mike x'.
On his experiences, Pete said: 'I've met mike a few times. We weren't particularly close but he was a polite guy and we know a lot of same people...

'On Saturday night, I was out with friends. It was such a tragic thing to happen to anyone who is in public eye hard for his family my thoughts go out to his family'.
Speaking on men dealing with mental health as a man in the public eye, he went on: 'When people see people in the public eye, it's very glamorous life, you're living your best life... but you never know what's going on in closed doors...
'Everyone has their struggles and it becomes more shocking when it's everyone who knows nationally. I've dealt with that myself anything you go through you put yourself in TV where everyone can judge you for everything...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
