It is one of 2019's most anticipated theatrical events.
And Marvel have released no fewer than 32 new posters for the forthcoming Avengers: Endgame on Tuesday, dividing the characters into two categories: those who survived Thanos' deadly snap at the end of Infinity War, and those that didn't.
However some fans have begun to speculate that Tom Hiddleston may make a surprise appearane in the next film, due to a poster featuring the face of his character Loki featuring among the deceased.
The posters depict the survivors in color, while showing those who perished in black and white.
The Thor star was actually not one of the characters who died after Thanos collected all the Infinity stones - which he then used to wipe out half the universe with a snap of his fingers.
Instead, Loki perished at the hands of Thanos early in the movie, before the villainous character -played by Josh Brolin- collected the powerful stones.
This led many fans to assume that there was no chance of bringing the God of Lies and Mischief back to life in the sequel.
However this new poster -plus a tweet from Hiddleston that simply read '1 month.'- gave fans hope.
'TOM HIDDLESTON TWEETED ABOUT ENDGAME Y’ALL I CANT BREATHE HE’S IN THAT MOVIE Y’ALL CANT CHANGE MY MIND. LOKI IS F*****G ALIVE.' wrote one breathless Loki Stan on Twitter.
'Loki is alive Loki is not dead Loki is alive Loki is not dead Loki is aliveeeeee,' typed another.
'loki’s not dead sorry i don’t accept it mans probably pretending like the time he turned into a snake,' speculated @softsadsatan.
The posters also revealed one other critical detail about the popular superhero franchise, apparently confirming the death of Shuri, the Black Panther character played by Letitia Wright.
Marvel Cinematic Universe enthusiasts will endure more than three hours of action and adventure with the April release of Avengers: Endgame, according to a short-and-sweet tweet from Fandago.
The AMC Theatres website reportedly revealed the runtime to be a whopping three hours and two minutes.
The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Brie Larson, Jeremy Renner, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan and Scarlett Johansson, and is set to be released on April 26.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
