«Breaking News» Kate Middleton's dress bears a very striking resemblance to her outfit last week

It was like a mirror image as the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a custom-made pale green gown at Buckingham Palace earlier today.

The stunning dress, which she wore to mark her father-in-law's 50th anniversary as the Prince of Wales, looked almost identical to one she donned just last week.

Kate, 37, opted for the sparkly £1,590 Missoni metallic-knit wrap dress when she arrived at Belfast's Empire Music Hall during a surprise visit to Northern Ireland

But the mint-green colour, and same cinched in waist and A-Line skirt has made it easy for comparisons to be drawn between the two.

The mother-of-three stunned in a £1,590 Missoni metallic-knit wrap dress, which she paired with her signature Gianvito suede stilettos, costing £505, and a nude Mulberry clutch

During the tour of Northern Ireland, Kate paired her glittery ensemble with signature Gianvito suede stilettos, which cost £505, and a nude Mulberry clutch - which she placed on the bar as she pulled pints with her husband, Prince William.

And it was like seeing double today as she made her way through the Palace in a blouse dress featuring ruffled sleeves and a button-up collar, which she similarly teamed with suede nude heels.

And it's not the first time Kate has repeated replica outfits. The dress today is strikingly similar to a Beulah London outfit she donned on a visit to Kuala Lumpur back in 2012 - which again featured chiffon puff sleeves.

At the time, Kate, then a newly-wed, drew comparisons to the late Princess Diana,  who appeared in an almost identical outfit on a visit to an Egyptian mosque during a tour of Egypt in 1992.

Meanwhile, Kate's appearance in Northern Ireland last week also drew comparisons to an Erdem dress she wore during a Buckingham Palace reception to mark the launch of the UK-India Year of Culture two years ago.

Speaking of Kate's love for sticking to an old favourite, stylist Lisa Talbot notes: 'Kate has developed a signature style and that's reflected in the shapes that she chooses from all her favourite designers and brands. '

'These shapes suit the elegant style she is trying to to achieve for her role within royalty. A style she has been developing over the years.'

'The styles of the Missoni and Erdem dresses encapsulate Kate’s body shape, defining her shoulders. The full length floaty style of the skirts also soften Kate’s look.'

But it's not unusual for Kate to stick to her firm favourites, as she often opts for similar peplum suits, tailored dresses and chiffon gowns for formal occasions.

Kate is a devoted Alexandra McQueen fan, and wore a powder-pink pleated number for a 2014 royal tour in Australia. She was also seen in a red Alexandra McQueen dress, in an almost identical style, in 2012 for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee UK Tour.

The Duchess also loves a Peplum suit and has been seen wearing them in different styles.

In 2016 she wore a belted suit with a collar, and while at the Queen's Jubilee tour in 2012 she donned a dark green version, which again was belted.

'Kate has a symmetrical, hour glass body shape,' Lisa adds. 'To define this body shape emphasis must be placed on the shoulders, necklines, waist and hips which is what she does by using fitted garments.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
