After lingering outside the restaurant to chat, Joey and her friends all shared embraces before heading their separate ways.

Since starring in The Act, she's been rocking a stylishly short hairdo, the result of shaving her head to play a young victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

At the series' premiere, Joey recommended every woman try shaving her head at least once while speaking to Page Six

'I think it really made me a stronger woman actually,' she said. 'I think every girl should shave their head if they get the chance to. It's really empowering. It may not be a popular opinion, but I feel like it made me embrace my womanhood a lot more.'

She stars as Gypsy Blanchard, daughter of Dee Dee Blanchard, played by Patricia Arquette.

In real life, she was forced by her mother to pretend to be chronically ill for years, requiring unnecessary surgeries and medications that helped make her sick enough to look the part.

Gypsy is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for participating in the murder of her mother with her boyfriend, Nick Godejohn, who's serving a life sentence.

Their crime, and the abusive that precipitated it, were depicted in the 2017 HBO documentary Mommy Dead And Dearest.

In addition to the high profile online series, Joey had a high profile 2018.

She starred in the Netflix romantic comedy The Kissing Booth, which the famously tight-lipped streaming service deemed one of its most popular original films, significantly increasing her profile.

She's also set to appear in Zeroville, James Franco's high profile directorial follow-up to The Disaster Artist.

She'll star opposite Franco, as well as Will Ferrell, Seth Rogen and Megan Fox.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
