President Donald Trump on Sunday railed against the investigations being conducted into his businesses and whether his campaign had ties to Russia, arguing he is 'an innocent man being persecuted' by 'very bad, conflicted & corrupt people.'
Trump has ratcheted up the rhetoric against the probes and against his former personal attorney Michael Cohen in the days since his former fixer testified before Congress.
'After more than two years of Presidential Harassment, the only things that have been proven is that Democrats and other broke the law. The hostile Cohen testimony, given by a liar to reduce his prison time, proved no Collusion! His just written book manuscript showed what he.....,' Trump wrote on twitter.
President Donald Trump railed against the investigations being conducted into his businesses and whether his campaign had ties to Russia
'...said was a total lie, but Fake Media won’t show it. I am an innocent man being persecuted by some very bad, conflicted & corrupt people in a Witch Hunt that is illegal & should never have been allowed to start - And only because I won the Election! Despite this, great success!,' he complained.
His two tweets featured a litany of complaints against his favorite cast of characters: his former personal attorney Michael Cohen, special counsel Robert Mueller, and deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller special counsel.
He also got in a dig at his favorite bete noir - the media - and revived his favorite argument: that he is the victim of a witch hunt.
Trump went after Cohen on Friday after his former fixer spent three days on Capitol Hill testifying against Trump, whom he called a con man and a racist.
The president on Friday demanded Congress examine a 2018 book proposal – revealed Thursday by DailyMail.com – that was universally friendly to the president.
'Wow, just revealed that Michael Cohen wrote a “love letter to Trump” manuscript for a new book that he was pushing. Written and submitted long after Charlottesville and Helsinki, his phony reasons for going rogue. Book is exact opposite of his fake testimony, which now is a lie!' the president tweeted.
The Cohen proposal was a written book pitch, not a manuscript. But in light of his scathing congressional testimony Wednesday, it suggests a sudden change of heart about the president after the FBI raided his home and office a few weeks later.
Additionally, Trump said Saturday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team are targeting him with 'bulls**t.'
'We're waiting for a report by people who weren't elected,' he complained in a speech at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.
'Unfortunately you put the wrong people in a couple of positions, and they leave people for a long time that shouldn't be there. And all of the sudden they're trying to take you out with bulls**t, okay?'
Trump was talking about the special counsel and Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general who appointed him at the Justice Department.
'Robert Mueller never received a vote. And neither did the person that appointed him,' he stabbed.
The president also mocked his first attorney general Jeff Sessions for handing the Russia investigation to Rosenstein by recusing himself from the probe early on without telling Trump of his plans.
In his book proposal, Cohen, 52, said his most important job in his role as special counsel to the Trump Organization was 'looking out for Mr. Trump and his family.' Pictured: Cohen with Trump on the campaign trail in 2016

'And as you know, the attorney general says, "I'm gonna recuse myself",' Trump snarked in full southern drawl.
'And I said, "Why the hell didn't he tell me that before I put him in?" How do you recuse yourself?'
Sessions said at the time that he couldn't supervise the probe because he had himself advised Trump's campaign on foreign policy.
Trump angrily denounced the Washington 'swamp' that he believes has tried to kneecap him from the day he took office.
'But we're winning and they're not,' he said in a two hour and two minute speech, the longest in his political career.
The Russia probe, now more than two years old, began as a counterintelligence investigation into still unproven claims that Trump's campaign plotted with Russian agents to tilt the 2016 presidential election in his favor.
The president, who often argues he is the target of a 'witch hunt,' has been more focal since Cohen testified and reports indicate Mueller is wrapping up his probe.
In Cohen's book proposal that DailyMail.com examined, Cohen wrote that Trump isn't 'crazy,' 'dumb or paranoid,' a 'liar,' 'addicted to TV,' or 'in over his head.'
The jail-bound and disbarred former attorney shopped the proposal, offering nothing but positive reviews of his longtime former boss who had entered the White House a little more than a year earlier.
Donald Trump attacked his former Michael Cohen on Friday after DailyMail.com revealed that he was shopping a book proposal in 2018 that was universally positive toward the president
The working title was 'Trump Revolution: From The Tower to The White House, Understanding Donald J. Trump.'
He sent his book pitch to several potential publishers last year. One, Hachette, reportedly was willing to pay him three-quarters of a million dollars for his wise words.
But Cohen, who is due to start a three-year prison term in May for crimes including tax evasion, lying to Congress and campaign finance violations, thought he could do better and continued to seek more money, DailyMail.com revealed Thursday.
Cohen wrote his proposal on January 24, 2018, less than three weeks after the publication of the first critical book about the Trump presidency, Michael Wolff's 'Fire And Fury,' which claimed the White House was a chaotic place where '100% of the people around him' believe Trump is unfit for office.
His book proposal was in stark contrast to his words to the oversight committee and to two other Congressional panels which he addressed in private. On Wednesday he said Trump 'is a racist, he is a con man and he is a cheat.'
'I am not protecting Mr. Trump anymore,' he added. 'My loyalty to Mr. Trump has cost me everything: my family's happiness, friendships, my law license, my company, my livelihood, my honor, my reputation, and soon my freedom.
'I will not sit back say nothing and allow him to do the same to the country.'
He even made the startling claim that if Trump loses next year's election 'there may be no peaceful transfer of power.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
