«Breaking News» Guy Sebastian reveals sacrifices juggling fatherhood and career

Since winning the inaugural season of Australian Idol back in 2003, singer Guy Sebastian has been in demand. 

And on Friday, he spoke about the sacrifices he makes while juggling his busy career with fathering two young children - sons Hudson, 6, and Archer, 4.  

Guy took to his Instagram Stories ahead of filming for The Voice, and amusingly joking about the 'sacrifices' he makes for his children while wearing a face mask.

In a deadpan voice, Guy recounted: 'I was just at the park with the kids playing cricket, but I had to leave because it's a late shoot for The Voice tonight.' 

He continued in an amusingly wry tone: 'I hope they understand just what kind of sacrifices I make for them on a work level.' 

He finished: 'I guess every father just wants their kids to look at them and go that's who I want to be, look at my dad, I want to be like that. And that's all I can ask for.'

Of course if Guy's children looked at him right then, he'd be clad in a rather funny beauty mask, adding to the hilarity of his dryly delivered monologue.  

Guy is married to interior blogger Jules Sebastian, with the pair tying the knot back in 2008, after his music career had taken off. 

Guy is known as a doting father, and often takes to social media to gush over family life and parenting.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in September 2017, Guy detailed how fatherhood had 'changed' him.     

'I love being a dad. It is amazing,' he said, before he continued: 'I think it just softens you a lot and puts life into perspective.' 

'It is challenging and it is tough at times but when you are sitting there holding your kid as they are falling asleep looking up at you. You are literally so in love with your kid,' the singer concluded.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
