«Breaking News» Florida corrections officer arrested for allegedly driving drunk and biting police officers

A Florida corrections officer was detained after she allegedly attacked officers who were apprehending her for driving drunk with her two kids in the backseat. 

Miya Bell, 27, was arrested on Sunday following a traffic stop on Southwest 137th Avenue near Southwest 160th Street in Miami-Dade. She is said to have been driving recklessly and was 'crashing into things' in a gray Nissan Rogue, an arrest affidavit obtained by NBC Washington states. 

An officer noted that Bell wasn't driving in a single lane, almost crashing her vehicle as she swerved from lane to lane.

When the officer stopped the woman, they discovered that there were two young children sleeping in the backseat. The officer also noticed that the woman reeked of alcohol, had bloodshot and watery eyes.

The police report states that Bell refused to take a sobriety test, informing officers that she had just left 'the club.'

Bell refused to walk toward the cop car while being taken into custody, wrapping her legs around an officer's so that they couldn't walk. 

She was said to have been combative and violent throughout the whole ordeal, kicking the officers.

Bell is said to have bit one of the officers on the arm, breaking the skin and causing a deep laceration and bleeding. She is then said to have headbutted a second officer on the bridge of his nose. The mother-of-two also bit another officer on the thigh, causing him to bruside and ripping his uniform pants. 

Bell was put in leg restraints and placed in the back of patrol car. She continued to refuse a breath test, according to the police report. 

The officer also noticed that the woman reeked of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and watery eyes. She bit two officers while avoiding arrest

The two officers were taken to the University of Miami Hospital for treatment. 

Bell was charged with three counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, three counts battery on a police officer, three counts resisting an officer with violence, two counts child abuse, one count of DUI, and one count resisting officer without violence

In bond court on Monday, Bell was blasted by the judge for her behavior. 

'These allegations are quite horrific, especially somebody in a position that you're in,' Judge Renatha S. Francis said to Bell. 'These allegations are just really outrageous, they really are.' 

Bell was placed on a $25,000 bond and will be on house arrest if released. She has also been ordered away from her children and cannot be in the proximity of a gun or weapon.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
