«Breaking News» Fiona Falkiner passionately kisses her girlfriend Hayley Willis at Mardi Gras parade

Sydney's 41st Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras took place on Saturday night.

And during the anticipated event, model Fiona Falkiner, 36, made an appearance with her girlfriend Hayley Willis.

Spreading the love on social media, the two took to Instagram to share a loved-up snap of them passionately kissing.

Clad in a glitzy ensemble, Fiona stunned in a silver sequin dress for the annual occasion. 

She teamed up the showstopping attire with a pink ruffle scarf and white sneakers.

Fiona's makeup consisted of glitter eye shadow, a glossy lip and a series of diamonds underneath her eye.

She styled her blonde locks in soft curls with the addition of playful purple streaks.  

And ahead of world-famous parade Mardi Gras, several celebrities took to social media to mark the special occasion.

Fiona, Michelle Bridges and Em Rusciano were among the big names who shared powerful messages with their followers on Instagram.

Michelle Bridges, 48, shared a selfie from last year's Mardi Gras, accompanied by a caption wishing her fans a fantastic night. 

'Happy Mardi Gras!' the Dancing With The Stars contestant wrote.

'Have a wonderful time everyone! I'm not marching this year but my thoughts are with you all, as I pursue my new career as a professional dancer'.

Elsewhere, Em Rusciano was also thinking of Mardi Gras, despite the fact she was spending the evening at home with her newborn baby Elio in Melbourne. 

She shared an adorable snap of her five-month old son, with the caption: 'I was born Mardi Gras weekend which makes all the sense. I had planned to be there for my 40th in nipples tassels, glitter and feathers (pre knowing I was up the duff) but instead I'll be partying all night with this legend boy.'

She added: 'There'll still be tears, t*ts and tucking - so not too different from the original plan! To my [LGBTI] family - I, as always, stand beside you as a proud ally. X'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
