The mother of Alesha MacPhail has called her child's twisted killer 'worse than the devil' and vowed to work to ensure he is never released from prison.
Aaron Campbell, 16, confessed to the abduction, rape and murder of Alesha MacPhail, 6, on the Isle of Bute, Scotland, and was jailed for a minimum of 27 years yesterday.
Today speaking to the Daily Record, his mother Georgina Lochrane, 24, said she is looking forward to the day Campbell is dead.
Georgina, 24, said: 'Even the devil itself would be disgusted in what that thing has done.
'We are dealing with the worst of the worst.

'What I look forward to now is the day I wake up and it's all over the news that he's dead and I hope he suffers more than Alesha did.'
Sentencing yesterday, Judge Lord Matthews said Campbell had 'violated and murdered' Alesha in the 'most brutal fashion', adding that he had shown a 'staggering lack of remorse' in the trial.
Today Georgina said she was 'sickened' to hear details of the killer's confessions but criticised the killer's minimum term of 27 years, saying she will fight for changes to the justice system.
Georgina said she did not expect Campbell's admissions of guilt, made to prison psychologists, which surfaced during his sentencing yesterday. But she said she believed he had 'a plan' to 'inflict maximum pain'.
She added: 'But I'm not stupid and see things in black and white and I don't think that's the end of it. This is all part of his wee game. It's all a game to him.
Alesha, 6, had 117 separate injuries including evidence of horrific sexual abuse. Post-mortem examination said she died from 'significant and forceful pressure to her neck and face'.

'He has plotted this for 12 months. Think what he can do in 27 years. As soon as he walks out the gates, he will strike again and I don't want another child to suffer.
She said this was a moment for the justice system 'to have a look at itself and give itself a shake', to ensure no other child ever suffers as her daughter did. She added: 'If this was America, he would be facing the death penalty regardless of his age.'
Aaron Campbell, 16, admitted in jail that 'all I thought about was killing her once I saw her', telling psychologists he was 'entertained by rape'
The teenager took Alesha from the bed where she was sleeping and inflicted horrific injuries before dumping her body in woodland.
Alesha had 117 separate injuries and a pathologist's post-mortem examination indicated she had died from 'significant and forceful pressure to her neck and face'.
Yesterday it emerged Campbell told social workers he had to 'zip his mouth shut' during the trial to stop from laughing, and said he was 'satisfied' with murder, describing it as 'a moment of opportunity'.
A report read out by Judge Lord Matthews at court today revealed how Campbell said he was 'mildly amused' at the time it took police to catch him.
The teen said 'all I thought about was killing her once I saw her', the court heard. He said he was 'entertained by rape' and told psychologists it 'took everything' to stop him from laughing during the trial.
Georgina said: 'That sickened me. I could tell not even looking at his face in court that he was loving every minute of what that judge was reading.
'You could feel it in the room and tell what type of person that thing is. You can't get worse than that.'
As guards led Campbell down to the cells yesterday, Georgina shouted out: 'F***ing disgusting vile little rat'.
Georgine, also mother to Courtney, four, explained that were it not for her daughter she would have 'jumped over the seats' to get at Alesha's murderer, and that the man in front of her that stopped her.
'I can't remember what I said in court. The words just came out but if I saw him now face to face, I'd say, 'You've taken the wrong wee girl from the wrong family and you're about to find that out'.
'He doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as my family. I never imagined I would ever be in any situation like this. Someone has killed my baby.
'It rubs salt into our wounds the fact he is still alive and she isn't. It shouldn't be like that.'
Georgina vowed to fight every bid Campbell makes to be released in the future for her daughter.

She told the paper: 'A life sentence should be a life sentence. He should have no human rights and doesn't deserve anything because he is inhuman.
'I will do whatever I can to make the parole board see that that can't be released back into society,' she said, adding that but for her daughter she would 'happily spend the rest of [her] life behind bars for him'.
She said she wanted prison guards to leave his cell door open, adding 'I don't think he'll last long in prison.'
She spoke out for tougher sentencing, saying: 'What is it going to take for them to realise that they need to start knuckling down?
'Stop giving out sentences of 27 years for child murderers and rapists. You are not making an example of them. You are giving them free rein to plot again.'
Georgina said the sentencing was by far the worst day she has endured since Campbell went on trial but she felt her daughter's spirit with her.
She said: 'When I walked in, I was a shaking mess. The worst I have been. The pain I felt that morning I lost her came back. It was like that day all over again.
'But I feel like Alesha is with me all the time. Today more than ever.'
Georgina previously said her 'world had been ripped away' by the killer, whose crimes shocked an idyllic island community.
Alesha had been three days into her planned three-week holiday at the time when she fell asleep watching Peppa Pig on July 1.
A nine-day trial at Glasgow's High Court heard how the boy went to Alesha's home looking to get cannabis from her drug-dealing father.
He broke into the three-bedroom flat and took the little girl from her bed, carrying her along a beach to woodland in the grounds of an abandoned hotel.
There, he raped and smothered her – inflicting the 'catastrophic' injuries. The next morning her grandfather Calum woke at 6am to find she was gone.
Alesha's naked body was found face down in the woods at 8.54am by a member of the public.
Georgina Lochrane – who lives 50 miles away near Glasgow – learned of her daughter's abduction and death from frantic Facebook posts from Calum's partner publicising her granddaughter's disappearance.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
