«Breaking News» Demi Moore says her relationships are now her priority over her work after she shifted her focus

Demi Moore says that she has changed her life and shifted her priorities, over the last seven years.

The 56-year-old actress revealed that she's now focused on her health and the people around her, as she spoke to Gwyneth Paltrow and Arianna Huffington at the 2019 In Goop Health summit on Saturday.

'My relationships are more important, and what I do comes second,' she explained at the NYC event, reports People

Speaking to Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow and author Arianna Huffington, the actress said that she’s shifted her priorities to refocus on her health and the people around her in the 'last seven years.'

Moore added that she no longer looks outwards for validation.

'What does it matter what anyone thinks? Nothing is that bad,' she told them.

Moore - who shares her three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis - was hospitalized after collapsing at home in 2012.

She entered rehab for addiction and an eating disorder, sources told People at the time.

'My health took me down,' the Ghost star said, referring to the time in her life.

When Paltrow, 46, asked what Moore teaches her daughters about growing up in the world today, Moore replied that improving herself has an effect.

'I feel like the more that I work on myself it’s automatically imparted because that’s how I’m living, and I don’t have to work as hard to show them or teach them,' she said.

She explained that she is learning as much from her daughters, Rumer, 30, Scout, 27, and Tallulah, 25.

'I already think they’re more evolved and more confident and less apologetic for who they are and the space that they’re taking.  I think I’m getting more insights from them than I’m giving.'

Moore also said that social media is an added pressure on young people growing up.

She said that it's 'hard enough to be a young person' without the pressures of social media, and that her daughters were affected.

'My children were the first generation that were put under the microscope, and my kids are battling huge self-esteem issues because adults in an anonymous forum commented saying they were ugly. It’s devastating as a parent.'

Likely referring to Jennifer Aniston's star-studded 50th birthday party last month, Demi revealed that the guests had a better time without the pressures of having phones.

'I was at a birthday party that you [Paltrow] were at also that said "no phones," and it was so great because everyone was dancing and connecting and listening to the music and laughing, and no one was trying to have the experience and post the picture.

'It is a discipline. It’s a beautiful tool that can be used in a powerful way, but it shouldn’t be a marker for our place in the world.'

However, Gwyneth broke the social media ban at that party, and reposted images on her Instagram.

Goop has come a long way ever since it was launched in 2008 by Gwyneth Paltrow as a lifestyle newsletter.

The brand has since expanded into a magazine, podcast, pop-up shop, and soon will have it's own docu-series on Netflix, according to Variety

The series will be comprised of 30-minute long episodes hosted by Gwyneth and Goop's chief content officer Elise Loehnen.

The show will feature, 'experts, doctors, and researchers to examine issues relating to physical and spiritual wellness,' according to Variety.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
