The last four remaining contestants are battling it out for a space in next week's grand finale.
And James Jordan put on a defiant display as he delivered a stellar performance with his dance partner Alexandra Schauman on Sunday's Dancing On Ice semi-finals, just days after ripping open his hernia.
The TV personality, 40, earned an impressive 40 points for his skilled routine to James Bay's Hold Back The River.

For a position in the finals, the contestants were required to take to the rink twice, including a solo performance.
And displaying his fancy footwork once again, the former Strictly star twirled around the ice with Finnish beauty Alex following his painful injury.
Impressive by their routine, judge Jason Gardiner enthused: 'That was the most masterful solo act of the series, it was magnificent!'
Fellow panellist Ashley Banjo added: 'I'm speechless, it goes beyond impressive and into inspiring for me! For me, that was Dancing On Ice right there, summed up.'

Injury: Displaying his fancy footwork once again, the former Strictly star twirled around the ice with Finnish beauty Alex following his painful injury (pictured in hospital last year)
Earlier this week, his injury left bosses fearing that he may be forced to leave the competition completely.
He told the Daily Star: 'I've ripped open my hernia. I've also got lower back pain because of it. I'm falling to bits. Managing injuries is getting harder as you get older.'
James also said his injury has made it hard for him to train and added that his fellow contestants were 'terrified' when they saw him double up in agony.
Wow: Wes Nelson and his professional partner Vanessa Bauer delivered another stellar performance on Sunday's Dancing On Ice semi-finals
The accident comes a little over a year since James endured an operation for a double hernia.
Elsewhere in the episode, Wes Nelson and his professional partner Vanessa Bauer stood out in bright neon green ensembles for the first performance of the night.
The Love Island star, 20, and the German skater, 22, wowed the judges with their skilled reverse layback lift, earning them 37.5 points out of 40.

Commending the pair on their performance, Diversity star Ashley commented: ‘You always have potential, every single week, you work hard and push forward. Those jumps were ridiculous, well done!’
Jason added: ‘This partnership is solid, you understand one another. You exceed our expectations, but with the splits, i didn't see splits.’
Insisting the contestant didn't deliver his best, Jayne Torvill shared: ‘I was impressed with the jumps, but I think we missed some of the finishes, so focus on that’
Christopher Dean echoed: 'It's about the finishes and that poise, we want to see the dancer in you!'
Singer Saara Aalto and her professional partner Hamish Gaman kicked off the show with an impressive routine to Katy Perry's Hot N Cold, which they finished off with a tricky headbanger move - scoring the highest score of the series with 35 points.
Providing the pair with a lukewarm response, judge Jayne said: 'I wanted a bit more from you, but as a whole, I thought the performance was great.'
An impressed Jason added: 'Tonight, you were up on top. After weeks of being unpredictable, you really gave it all with your heart.'
Up next was Brian McFadden and Alex Murphy, who skated along to Coldplay's Fix You.
The former Westlife singer, 38, lifted his dance partner in the air mid-way through their routine, defying his recent shoulder lift, and scored 33.5.
Wes broke down in tears over his failed relationship with Megan Barton Hanson whilst talking about his chosen skate song.
The TV personality has reached the semi-final of the ITV show alongside professional partner Vanessa, 22, and this week the contestants must pick a song that means something to them.
But when speaking about his hopes to find a love like theirs, the star couldn't help the tears from falling when his thoughts turned to Megan from whom he split with earlier this year.
Speaking in a VT ahead of his performance, Wes said: 'It's my parents wedding song. My mum and dad genuinely mean the absolute world to me. I can't even thank them enough for how much they've done for me. It's a big thank you to them really.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
