«Breaking News» Americans' confidence in U.S. hits highest mark in 18 YEARS but a majority still don't like Trump

A massive majority of Americans like the state of the U.S. economy, according to new national poll numbers, but most still don't approve of President Donald Trump's job performance.

Pollsters commissioned by CNN found 71 per cent of adults rated economic conditions in the country 'very good' or 'somewhat good.' That's the best number since February 2001, the month after George W. Bush took over the White House.

Yet just 42 per cent in the same poll said they approve of Trump's performance as president. Fifty-one percent disapprove. While that represents a majority, it's the lowest such number recorded in CNN's polling since the president's inauguration.

A separate 51 per cent majority give Trump positive reviews for his handling of the economy. But just 34 percent favor his approach to txa policy, and 42 per cent agree support his work on the federal budget.

'The Economy is Great!' Trump tweeted Tuesday, quoting Fox Business Network host Start Varney saying: 'You can't dispel this mood of positive energy.'

Varney actually said, 'You can't dispel this mood of positive upward movement.' He was dismissing the idea that a cut in the Federal Reserve's prime interest rate could put a wet blanket over stock traders' economic outlook.

Trump has made jobs and the economy major domestic priorities, along with illegal immigration.

The public is largely not on board with his approach to immigration, with just 39 per cent approving and 58 per cent disapproving.

But economic optimism is the message the White House pushed on Tuesday. Fully 90 per cent of Republicans have a rosy outlook, along with a 53 per cent majority of Democrats and 74 per cent of independent voters.

And just 15 per cent of Americans told CNN's pollsters that they are worse off economically than they were three years ago, when Barack Obama was still president and Trump was fighting for the Republican nomination.

Forty-two per cent say they are better off. Another 41 per cent say their personal financial situation hasn't changed.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
