Sony’s Master Series Z9G 8K LCD TV will offer the highest resolution yet in a consumer television from the company.
It contains four times as many pixels as a 4K TV and 16 times that of HD, the firm says.
Sony also unveiled the A9G 4K OLED TV in 77-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch, along with classes 76.7", 64.5", and 54.6". The A9G is designed to be ultra-slim.
‘Continually innovating to exceed our customers' expectations is a core element of Sony's premium strategy,’ said Mike Fasulo, president and chief operating officer of Sony Electronics North America.

Sony’s President of Picture Animation also took to the stage at the CES event to discuss the firm’s unique approach to animation.
‘We intentionally do not have a specific house style’ Kristine Belson said, pointing to the groundbreaking animation seen in Into the Spiderverse as an example.
In a shift from previous years, the company turned much of its focus to animation, revealing fresh insight on the painstaking efforts behind its wildly popular new movie, Into the Spiderverse.
According to Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the animation in Spiderverse required far more work than typical films.
While it usually takes animators about a week to produce a four-second animation, Spiderverse required a week for just one second.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
