«Breaking News» Love Island star Max Morely gets a hair transplant at 25

He was the heartthrob of the 2015 series of Love Island and went on to win the show with unlucky-in-love Jess Hayes.

But Max Morley has now confessed his receding hairline has been affecting his confidence over the last years, forcing him to turn to a hair transplant.

The 25-year-old reality star - who recently split from Love Island 2018 star Laura Anderson - underwent the procedure at KSL Clinic in Manchester.

Max told The Sun Online: 'When I was on Love Island my hair was always a big part of my personality, it was kind of a big thing.

'It was just a confidence thing really. I’ve always liked having hair and accepting that I was going bald was just tough.'

Explaining that he first started noticing hair loss three years ago, Max worried it was starting to look like a 'comb over' and struggled to cover it up every day.

'I’m only 25 and honestly if I didn’t get this done I would have been bald, or would have had to have shaved it short this year,' he said.

Max joins a host of stars including Wayne Rooney and Calum Best who have undergone the extreme makeover.  

It was recently reported that Laura, 29, had called it quits with Max, 25, after three months of dating after fearing he was unfaithful to her.

A source told The Sun: 'It just wasn’t the right time for Laura and Max. They weren’t working so decided to end things sooner rather than later.  

'They were yet to make their relationship official and weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend – but were still meant to be exclusive.

'Laura doesn’t believe Max was trustworthy and has been told he was disloyal during their time together so has made the decision to block him on Instagram in order to move on.'

The source added that Laura now wants to stay away form former contestants of the reality show in the future. 

The former couple looked more loved up than ever on a recent trip to Barbados earlier this month. 

The pair were seen frolicking on the beach during their stay on the Caribbean island but were said to be on the rocks since then after a tense row. 

Max previously took to the social media site to deny claims the couple were set to split.

He clarified: 'Me and Laura had a fantastic Holiday in Barbados and are very much looking forward to Christmas...me and Laura are good!'

Laura embarked on her romance with Max following her traumatic split from Love Island co-star Paul Knops in October. 

In the wake of their split, model Paul, 32, had claimed Laura had cheated on him with current beau and 2015 Love Island champion Max, something which Laura vehemently denied.

She in turn blamed the split on conflicting schedules, and said she had hoped to spend more time with him, which didn't happen.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
