«Breaking News» Viewers are stunned by ‘loved up’ Boris Johnson’s makeover

Viewers have been left stunned by Boris Johnson's dramatic makeover during last night's crunch vote on Brexit.

The former Foreign Secretary gave a TV interview following Theresa May's crushing Commons defeat, but some were more interested in his 'extraordinary' weight loss and 'youthful' haircut - with one branding him a 'lean mean Brexit machine'.

Boris, 54, is currently dating a former colleague more than 20 years his junior and viewers have speculated that the 'loved up' MP owes his image overhaul to the burgeoning romance.

He recently revealed he had lost 12 lbs by quitting alcohol and ‘late-night binges of chorizo and cheese’, which some have credited to PR executive Carrie Symonds.

The 30-year-old was first linked to Boris following the collapse of his second marriage last summer and the pair are reported to have moved in together in a £1m London flat.

The MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip is said to be besotted with the former Tory public relations chief, who recently started a new job at Bloomberg, and insiders say he even has marriage on his mind.

Others speculated that Boris may be preparing to launch a leadership bid, despite his pledge to back Theresa May in Wednesday's no-confidence motion against the Government.

Watching from home, one tweeted: 'Boris has lost weight. All loved up,' while another remarked that he 'looked younger'.

Twitter user Rose Byrne added: 'Boris has lost a lot of weight, must be love.' 

Another said: 'Yes Boris Johnson looks like he's lost weight, straightened his tie and got a new haircut... he's a lean, mean Brexit machine.' 

One wrote: 'Well Boris had his hair trimmed up and lost some weight - God help us.' 

Insiders say Boris and Miss Symonds are planning to go public after hosting a pre New Year's Eve party for family and friends before jetting to Greece for a romantic holiday.

A source told the Mail: 'They are very loved up. It’s completely sincere on both their parts, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if they ended up getting married once his divorce is all settled.’ 

While many remarked on Boris' makeover, others speculated that he may be preparing to launch a leadership bid, despite his pledge to back Theresa May on Wednesday 

And one insider added: ‘He’s been talking about how much weight he has lost recently, and I think Carrie has put him on her diet.

‘She is definitely advising him and I think that is one of the reasons she left her job, because she felt more loyal to him in the end than the party.'

While one source claimed Boris plans to get engaged to his ex-Tory spin doctor girlfriend but is 'desperate to avoid messing it up'.

A friend of Johnson told The Sun: 'He wants to get engaged. He's completely in thrall to Carrie. Totally loved-up.

'It's sweet to see. He's like a puppy dog around her and very solicitous but desperate to avoid messing it up.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
