«Breaking News» Bird Box home becomes a tourist attraction as fans flock to scene

Netflix's latest scary movie, Bird Box has become a cult hit and the owner of the home where Sandra Bullock took refuge has become a tourist attraction.

Fans are flocking, (excuse the pun), to the home in Monrovia, which is about 20 miles northeast of Los Angeles, to take photos outside.

According to TMZ, the owner was paid $12k for exterior shots of her home to be taken and it's where several key characters hide out from an evil force.

The stone staircase is rather distinctive in design, as is the cobbled stone wall and wooden canopy.

In the movie, Bullock plays post-apocalyptic survivor Malorie Hayes escorting two children to a safe compound after mass hysteria led to murders and suicides of most of the population.

Talking to TMZ, the owner said: 'A handful of visitors have been showing up to take photos at the house every day, including Christmas Day, since the movie was released on December 13.

'Everyone who has stopped by to snap a pic of the Bird Box house has been very polite, and some have even knocked on the door to ask for permission.'

But she did admit she has not seen the movie and doesn't even have a Netflix account.

That may well be a wise decision considering what happens at the home in the film.

Don't blame you: The homeowner admitted she had not even seen the movie and doesn't even have a Netflix account

Without giving too much away, in the movie, the windows are covered up to protect the residents from the evil forces outside and they have to wear blindfolds to shield their eyes.

So if the homeowner HAD watched it, she might not feel too happy about opening the curtains each morning.

TMZ write that the home has been used in three other movies in the last 20 years, but she couldn't remember which.

Netflix announced on Friday that 45M subscriber accounts have already streamed Susanne Bier's zombie-style thriller.

Link hienalouca.com Interesting to note Looking for an investor or sponsor for a project to grow dinosaurs and relict plants. Requires the sum of investments from 400000$ to 900000$. The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
