«Breaking News» Yandy sells 'sexy pope' costume inspired by Rihanna's Met Gala dress

It remains most indisputable in most fashion circles that Rihanna's outfit at the Met Gala this May was the most iconic look of the night.

The 30-year-old singer fully embraced the 'Fashion and the Catholic Imagination' theme of the exhibit being celebrated, turning up in a lavishly embellished white dress and cape by Maison Margiela, and a matching Pope hat.

Now, her show-stopping statement is getting the Halloween treatment, with online retailer Yandy making a mass-produced costume version of the ensemble.

Setting trends: Her Maison Margiela outfit paid homage to the theme of the exhibit being unveiled, called Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination

Rihanna was generally applauded after the star-studded event for how glamorous she looked, and how well she played off the theme of the exhibit that the party was celebrating.

But being a costume site — and one that isn't turning out $10,000 dresses — Yandy really exaggerating the religious angle of RiRi's look.

In the past few weeks, they've debuted what they call the Shining Bright Pope costume, clearly an homage to the Diamonds singer.

'Are you ready to look like a good girl gone bad? You'll be glistening more than diamonds in the sky in this exclusive Shining Bright Pope costume,' the description reads.

The costume — which retails for a whopping $99.98 — includes a silver dress covered in sequins, with a cross prominently featured on the bodice.

Who run the world? The site also debuted a Run the World Festival Diva costume this year but it has quickly sold out

The $120 costume was inspired by Beyonce's Coachella festival look

There's also a matching cape and a headpiece, which also features a cross.

Yandy clearly isn't worried about offending. The site also sells quite a few different 'sexy nun' costumes, with titles like Blasphemous Babe, Bad Habit Nun, and Sinfully Hot Nun. 

And Rihanna isn't the only celebrity represented this season. The site also debuted the Run the World Festival Diva costume, inspired by one of Beyonce's Coachella looks.

It includes a sequin leotard, an Egyptian-inspired shawl, and a matching hat, like the one Queen Bey wore for her performance.

And even with a $120.95 price tag, the costume has already sold ut.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
