And Lady Gaga radiated showbiz allure when she hit the streets in New York City Wednesday, showing off her legs in a sparkling split scarlet gown.

She matched her footwear to a gleaming pair of sunglasses, letting her platinum blonde hairdo fall free over her shoulders and swinging a black purse.
Bradley Cooper is not only directing but also co-starring in his remake of the apparently inexhaustible A Star Is Born, with Gaga as his leading lady.
Though the original 1937 film was not a musical, the subsequent versions have been, and this Gaga version is going to be as well.

Co-written by none other than Dorothy Parker, the original film starred Janet Gaynor as an ingenue whose career goes from strength to strength, while her older and more established movie star love interest (Fredric March) desiccates.
Both Fredric and Janet received Oscar nominations for the film.
George Cukor's 1954 remake starred Judy Garland and James Mason, both of whom also received Academy Award nods for it.

That film introduced the world to Harold Arlen and Ira Gershwin's song The Man That Got Away, which became one of the most enduring staples of Judy's repertoire.
A 1976 version starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson was directed by Frank Pierson, who wrote bitterly in New West about his persistent 'battles' with Barbra and her hairdresser-turned-producer boyfriend Jon Peters.
Yet the movie did yield the Oscar-winning love song Evergreen, which had a lyric by Paul Williams and music by none other than Barbra herself.
New work: Bradley Cooper is not only directing but also co-starring in his remake of the apparently inexhaustible A Star Is Born, with Gaga as his leading lady
Barbra told Extra late last month that 'Of course I've seen' the new Gaga version, saying: 'I think it's wonderful. She's wonderful.'
The Funny Girl star dished: 'Bradley, you know, told me he spent months with her working to see her real self. In other words, I like - I call her Stefani. I can't call her Lady Gaga, but I understand why she's called Lady Ga- why she called herself Lady Gaga. I understand that person. And I think it's great. They're gonna have a big hit.'
Although Judy's daughter Liza Minnelli is typically leery of movies or plays about her mother - she was scathing toward the Broadway show End Of The Rainbow about Judy's decline - she may go see the new A Star Is Born.
Continuing the tradition: Though the original 1937 film was not a musical, the subsequent versions have been, and this Gaga version is going to be as well
Liza is personal friends with Gaga, and her professional respect for the younger woman may be enough to persuade her to see her new movie, TMZ reported.
After A Star Is Born, Bradley is planning to direct himself playing legendary composer Leonard Bernstein - he of West Wide Story and Candide - per Deadline.
The Broadway icon was married to Chilean actress Felicia Montealegre from 1951 until her death of cancer in 1978, in spite of the fact she knew he was gay.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
