Horrific surveillance footage shows a Lyft driver who is alleged to have been intoxicated swerve his vehicle onto a sidewalk while pedestrians manage to scurry out of the way.
The incident took place outside the famed Whisky A Go Go club in West Hollywood just after midnight on Wednesday morning.
The video of the incident shows the driver violently barrel onto the sidewalk and slam into a pole.
A man and a woman who were hit ended up on the hood of the car just before it stopped as it careened into the pole, the footage shows.

Luckily, nobody was seriously injured. The driver has been arrested on drunk driving charges.
Shane Hunter, a musician whose band was playing at the club late Tuesday, was among the pedestrians who was hit by the car.
‘We were just outside taking a break and talking,’ Hunter told KTLA-TV.
‘We just looked up and saw a car coming off of San Vicente way too fast … We all just started running.’
Hunter and three others suffered minor injuries. Two of the victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Whisky A Go Go is a nightclub located on the corner of North Clark Street and Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. It is considered a historic venue that has been played by famous acts including The Doors, No Doubt, Buffalo Springfield, Guns N' Roses, Linkin Park, and others
‘We’re all fine,’ Hunter said.
‘Just abrasions and bruises … It’s amazing … happy to be alive.’
Gabe Maska, the man who ended up on the hood, said being hit by the car actually helped his musicianship.
‘Because it hit the pole I was only pushed maybe five feet forward and landed on my feet,’ he said before going back into the club to finish his set.
‘I was able to go and perform right after ... I think the adrenaline made it even better.’
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which is handling the investigation, has yet to release the identity of the suspected drunk driver.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
