«Breaking News» Emma Bunton looks fashionable in a sky blue duster coat

She dropped the bombshell a new Spice Girls album could be on the cards.

And Emma Bunton caught the looks from all around her when she ambled into BBC Radio Two Studios, in London on Wednesday.

Baby Spice, 43, threw a duster coat in an eye-catching sky blue over her shoulders in a trendy fashion to keep the nippy temperatures at bay.

We're still very happy about the fact that the Spice Girls are re-forming after it was confirmed via Instagram a few months ago.

All eyes were on the girls and their fashion choices back in the 90's and even know we can't help but want to copy their style, even if it is all grown-up.

Baby Spice had us green (or rather blue) with envy after she was spotted wearing this Maje coat in bright blue.

Hailing from Maje’s spring 2018 collection, this is a great example of what the range presents: classic silhouettes updated with uplifting colours.

Created in softly-brushed wool, the longline shape also has the option to be cinched the waist with its detachable belt, but Emma chose to remove this for a more casual take.

Unfortunately, the exact coat has now sold out online, but click right to check out the current collection at Maje. Alternatively, check out further vibrant designs, from the likes of Boohoo, Brave Soul and Tommy Hilfiger in the carousel below.

Recently, she released Baby Please Don't Stop which is the first song from her brand new solo album My Happy Place set for release on 12th April.

And, in an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Emma revealed that a new Spice Girls album could happen, as she discussed the potential for the group to pen new material 'during or after' their upcoming Spice World 2019 reunion tour.

The mother-of-two also confirmed that, while original member Victoria Beckham has been 'so supportive from day one,' she will not be joining her, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Geri Horner on stage during the stadium tour, which kicks off in May.

When quizzed about the possibility of another Spice Girls album coming to fruition, Emma said: 'We definitely haven't started writing, or anything like that, and it would have to be very organic. So, we'll have to see.

'After the tour maybe, or during the tour I think, especially with us girls. We are so fly by the seat, which we love, and gives us that adrenaline.

'We're always like: "What's next?" So, that [a new Spice Girls album] could happen. Who knows?'

And, as Emma revealed that she is open to the idea of making another Spice Girls album, she firmly shut down any glimmer of hope that Victoria Beckham might join the group on stage during the 2019 reunion tour.

She said: 'That's something that's not gonna happen. She's been brilliant in the conversations we've had. So supportive.

'From day one she's been like: "I'm here to support you," so that's just lovely. And, she wants to come with Harper. I'm so excited that she's going to come.'

The girls made their comeback announcement last autumn without Victoria - AKA Posh Spice - consequently selling out their UK tour and adding more dates.

Emma's excitement about performing with the group once again was palpable, and not dampened at all by the fact that Victoria won't be taking part in the experience.

The mother-of-two explained that she was waiting nervously with her fiancé Jade Jones on the morning that tickets went on sale.

'The morning of the ticket release Jade and I were like "quick, check, do we need to buy any just in case?" joked Emma.

'But, it was just incredible that it sold out very very fast. I mean stadiums! It's going to be amazing.'

She said: 'I'm so bl**dy happy that we're gonna be back up on that stage together. I love looking to the side and seeing the girls.'

Emma — who is mother to sons Tate, seven, and Beau, eleven, with her fiancé and partner of over 20 years, Jade Jones — admitted: 'I personally wanted to do this [the Spice Girls tour) for my children.

'I want them to see a show and what we bring to the show, and the messages we bring to those shows.'

The Spice Girls have always been synonymous with Girl Power and female empowerment, but Emma revealed that there is a shift in the messages that the four women will bring to their 2019 tour.

She said: 'It's definitely people power, strength, light. Let's bring some light back in.

For them: 'I personally wanted to do this [the Spice Girls tour) for my children. I want them to see a show and what we bring to the show, and the messages we bring to those shows' she said

'What I loved with the girls, and when we sold out the stadiums, is that everyone went 'Oh my god, I wanna go to that show' – it brought people together.

'Sometimes I think we're all out doing our own things, and having our different opinions, and this is the one thing that people have gone: 'I wanna go to that show and be a part of something.'

Emma also insisted that she has no fears in regards to potential tiffs between her fellow band members whilst on their stadium tour, explaining: 'We're all so different. We're all mummies now. It's gonna be great.'

The mother-of-two revealed that she feels much better prepared — both mentally and physically — for the upcoming stadium shows, compared to the last time the Spice Girls toured, back in 2007.

She said: 'This feels very exciting for me, because the last tour I loved, but I literally had a three month old [Beau], and I just felt like I was juggling a lot - literally.

'I fell over in one of the shows, and our physio was backstage, and I was like "What's going on?" He was like "What do you mean what's going on?

'"You're hips have not gone back into place. Your body is physically not back in place where it should be." So, I think that this time around I feel prepped and ready. I'm looking forward to it.'

Excited: She said: 'This feels very exciting for me, because the last tour I loved, but I literally had a three month old [Beau], and I just felt like I was juggling a lot, literally' (Pictured in 2007)

And preparations for the tour are very much underway, as Emma confirmed: 'The four of us are very 'on it'. We're businesswomen at the end of the day, so we work hard behind the scenes.

'There's lots going on, and all very exciting creatively. I've got it in my head what it's going to look like, so we've gotta make that come to life.

'We don't start rehearsals until April, and I can't wait now. But, you know it's a big show, we're prepping second to second.

'I've been to auditions with the dancers, so I've seen them. They're incredible.'

The What I Am hitmaker also gushed that she has been teaching her two young sons the dance routine to the classic Spice Girls track Stop, so that they know the moves before coming to see the girl group perform.

She said: 'We have music on all the time at home, and I do play The Spice Girls, and we do the Stop routine together – I'm gonna make sure they know that.'

Emma also admitted that she's not sure how aware her two sons are, of what it means that 'mummy is a Spice Girl.'

She mused: 'I don't know. I think they get it a little bit, as in they come home from school and go: "My teacher really likes The Spice Girls mummy." So, they see little bits.

'But, I think once they see a show, I think they're just gonna love it. I think they're gonna get it once they see a show, and once they see all of us up there performing.

'They love Geri as well, and I'm just hoping they're gonna love us all by the time we finish.'

And while her sons adore Geri, Emma admitted that she was delighted when Victoria Beckham's daughter Harper styled her hair into the classic Baby Spice bunches.

She exclaimed: 'When I saw that I was like "Yes! She's one of mine". If there's a tribute act, she's me!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
