Captain Marvel is ready to storm into theaters in the US on March 8.
The film, which features Brie Larson as an Air Force pilot from outer space and Samuel L Jackson as a government official, has landed on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Inside Brie reveals she chose good friend and Kong: Skull Island co-star Samuel as her sidekick. 'Marvel was like, "Is there anybody that you’d wanna do [the movie] with?"' she said. 'And I was like, "Please. I need to be with my pal. Don’t let me do it alone!"'

And Brie also said that Samuel never gave her any advice. 'He asked to go to dinner with me the night before I was leaving to go to the [2016] Oscars, and I thought he was gonna give me some sage wisdom,' said the Room star.
Captain Marvel will be in theaters March 8
'At the end of dinner, he had said nothing about it, and I was like, “Well, aren’t you gonna tell me some piece of advice?” He’s like, “No. Are you gonna give me advice?” I’m like, “No.” He was like, “You’re fine. Enjoy it.” It was the same thing with Captain Marvel.'
Samuel also revealed how certain movies can take you from famous to mega famous.
'It just changes the game in another kind of way. ’Cause I had all this interesting kind of popularity or whatever, but when I got into the Star Wars universe, it exponentially changed. You become godlike in a crazy kinda way. I [became more famous] because I was a Jedi, so no matter where I went, I got accosted by the Jedi council of wherever.'
Samuel was in 2005's Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and 2008's Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Good friends: Larson and Jackson speak onstage during Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel press vonference at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 22
He also joked, '[You hear] chanting outside your hotel-room window at night. It’s like, “You’re adults, go away!”'
Brie also said she wanted to be a Jedi, which was likely a big hint for Disney.
Larson also said she finds this new fame curious.
'I thought I would be more shaken by this process. Instead, I just feel more curious, and it’s just like a weird dream that we’re in right now. I’m more interested in it than I thought my introverted self could handle,' said the star.

Brie also talked about feminism.
'I think because it’s 2019, and what 2019 is about, really, is intersectional feminism.
'There’s just no question that we would have to show what it means to be all different kinds of women, that we don’t just have one type. It became a great opportunity, even with things like the love story. [We wanted] to make that big love— that lost love, that love that’s found again—be with [Carol’s] best friend.
'To show that, that’s incredibly powerful and gripping, and you could go to the ends of the Earth and fight till the end for your best friend. It’s perfect to me and so meaningful. To me, that’s a part of what the meditation of this movie is: It’s female strength, but what is female strength? What are the different ways that can look?'
Former couple: Alex Greenwald is shown with former fiancee Brie in January 2018 in Los Angeles
Brie and Samuel also posed at the 91st annual Academy Awards on Sunday.
She looked stunning in a silver dress as he had on a dark suit.
It was reported in January that Brie and ex-fiance Alex Greenwald, 39, had split after getting engaged in May 2016 in Tokyo.
Brie won the Oscar for Best Actress for her work in the 2015 drama Room. Her other film credits include 21 Jump Street, Don Jon, Trainwreck and Kong: Skull Island.

Inside Brie reveals she chose good friend and Kong:...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
