«Breaking News» Gemma Collins channels Khloe Kardashian with new blonde bob

She has had a traumatic week after her split from her fat-shaming boyfriend James Argent.

And Gemma Collins was in need of a little TLC as she enjoyed a spot of pampering on Thursday.

The TOWIE star, 37, took to Instagram to show off her new peroxide blonde bob and admitted to her followers Khloe Kardashian was her inspiration for her glamorous new hairdo.

Donning a pair of white heart pyjamas, Gemma gave Khloe a run for her money as she posed up a storm with her blunt cut bob in the snap. 

She captioned the post: 'Some days you just gotta do a @khloekardashian in ya PJS 

'I love you @khloekardashian you give me life. Don’t expect to see me with a ROOT for the next 10 months.'

Earlier in the day, the TOWIE star filmed a video of herself taking care of her mum, who was hospitalised earlier this week with pneumonia, as she praised her 'wonderful' dad for looking after her too.

As she got to work brushing her mum Joan's hair, Gemma's dad gave them both a kiss goodbye before calling out from the front door that he had sorted out his daughter's car tax. 

'Love you dad,' called Gemma in the video, before clarifying: 'Just want to add dad doesn't need to pay my car tax but he likes to do all these things for me. I'm a very lucky girl.' 

She added in the video caption of her dad: '71 years old still goes to work everyday ... he’s vegan... he’s got so much energy and most of all he looks after my mum very well MARRIED 42 YEARS ❤️'

Gemma has had a tough time of late, she split from boyfriend Arg earlier this week after the alleged foul-mouthed messages he sent to her became public. 

Arg had been accused of calling his ex 'an embarrassment' and 'a fat horrible lump' in a series of abusive messages seen by The Sun. 

The messages said: 'You are a fat joke of a woman. An absolute car crash! You're nearly 40 f***ing years old, you embarrassment.'

In another, he said: 'You fat horrible lump. Nasty mean woman. Who the f*** do you think you are? You've got more rolls than Greggs.' 

In pictures obtained by The Sun, Arg was seen outside Gemma's home, just hours after she had broken up with him.

Their relationship seemed to hit a new low when Arg posted a clip of Gemma snoring on his social media profile.

On Monday, it was claimed that 'humiliated' Gemma felt like she had 'no choice' but to dump him.

Moving vans were then seen at her house, prompting speculation that he had been asked to leave. 

Fellow TOWIE star Chloe Sims previously accused Arg of bombarding her with nasty text messages last April when she waded into their relationship.

In a revelation aired on the series in 2018, Chloe warned Gemma that Arg wasn't ready for fatherhood, which didn't go down well with him.

She said at the time: 'I really don't want to ruin Arg, but I'm gong to be honest with you, after our conversation I was bombarded with messages and calls from him digging me out.'

Arg also once faced the wrath of Lucy Mecklenburgh on The Only Way Is Essex for sending abusive messages to his ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
