«Breaking News» Kavanaugh's ex-roommate says the SCOTUS nominee lied under oath

Brett Kavanaugh's Yale roommate has claimed that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath about his youthful drinking habits and high school yearbook.

'Brett Kavanaugh stood up under oath and lied about his drinking and about the meaning of words in his yearbook,' James Roche wrote in an essay for Slate published on Wednesday.

'In his words and his behavior, Judge Kavanaugh has shown contempt for the truth, for the process, for the rule of law, and for accountability,' Roche continued.

Roche and Kavanaugh shared a three-person room at Yale College in 1983, when they were freshmen.

According to Roche, Kavanaugh was lying when he explained terms in his yearbook to the Senate Judiciary Committee last Thursday, saying that 'boofing' meant flatulence and 'Devil's Triangle' is a drinking game.

''Boofing' and 'Devil's Triangle' are sexual references. I know this because I heard Brett and his friends using these terms on multiple occasions,' Roche wrote.

Roche previously said he believes the Scotus nominee's second sexual misconduct accuser and claims her allegations are consistent with the 'heavy drinker' he came to know.

James Roche admits he never saw Kavanaugh engage in any sexual misconduct against Debbie Ramirez and did not attend the party where Ramirez claims he flashed his genitals at her.

However, Roche who is now CEO of a software company, says Ramirez 'stood out as being exceptionally honest and gentle' while Kavanaugh was a 'notably heavy drinker' during their time at the Ivy League school.

'He was a notably heavy drinker, even by the standards of the time, and he became aggressive and belligerent when he was very drunk', he wrote in a statement.

'I did not observed the specific incident in question, but I do remember Brett drinking excessively and becoming incoherently drunk...Based on my time with Debbie. I believe her to be unusually honest and straightforward and I cannot imagine her making this up,''Based on my time with Brett, I believe that he and his social circle were capable of the actions that Debbie described.'

He added that he is 'not a political person' and has 'no political agenda' and is speaking out because he believes 'Debbie has a right to be heard and I believe her'.

In a further statement to the New Yorker, he added: 'Is it believable she was alone with a wolfy group of guys who thought it was funny to sexually torment a girl like Debbie? Yeah definitely is. Is it believable Kavanaugh was one of them? Yes.'

Ramirez, now 53 living in Colorado, claims Kavanaugh 'thrust his penis in her face and caused her to touch it without her consent' during a dorm party at Yale during the 1983/84 academic year.

She made her claims in a piece in the New Yorker published on Sunday evening.

Avenatti made shocking claims that Kavanaugh and other men would ply women with alcohol or drugs at house parties and then allow men to 'gang rape' them. The claims from the client Avenatti represents come after Christine Blasey Ford's (pictured) public accusations against Kavanaugh.

WHAT RAMIREZ CLAIMS

Ramirez told The New Yorker she, too, had been drinking during the alleged incident, which took place during her and Kavanaugh's freshman year at Yale.

Ramirez said she was invited by a friend on the women's soccer team to a dorm room party.

The party took place in a room at Lawrance Hall, a student residence hall located in Yale's Old Campus.

Ramirez recalls that the students at the party were taking part in a drinking game.

'We were sitting in a circle,' she said. 'People would pick who drank.'

She recalls being picked repeatedly, which meant drinking large amounts of alcohol in a relatively short time.

Ramirez said she got drunk very fast.

She alleges that another male student used a 'gag plastic penis' which was pointed in her direction.

Soon afterward, Ramirez recalls being on the floor and slurring her words.

She then says another male exposed himself to her.

'I remember a penis being in front of my face,' Ramirez said.

'I knew that's not what I wanted, even in that state of mind.'

At that moment, Ramirez said she commented: 'That's not a real penis.'

She said that the other students began laughing at her and taunting her.

One of the students allegedly told her to 'kiss it.'

She said she pushed the person away, forcing her to touch it.

Ramirez said she was unnerved by what happened, particularly given her religious upbringing as a devout Catholic from Connecticut.

'I wasn't going to touch a penis until I was married,' she said.

'I was embarrassed and ashamed and humiliated.'

Ramirez said she remembers Kavanaugh standing to her right and laughing as he pulled up his pants.

'Brett was laughing,' she said.

'I can still see his face, and his hips coming forward, like when you pull up your pants.'

Ramirez said she remembers another student talking about the incident.

'Somebody yelled down the hall, 'Brett Kavanaugh just put his penis in Debbie's face',' she said.

'It was his full name. I don't think it was just 'Brett.'

'And I remember hearing and being mortified that this was out there.'

Ramirez acknowledges that there are 'gaps in her memory,' according to The New Yorker, particularly given the fact that she was intoxicated.

Her allegations heaped further pressure on Kavanaugh, whose nomination process was thrown into turmoil when a woman claimed he molested her at a high school party.

Christine Blasey Ford alleges that a drunken Kavanaugh and another boy shut her in a room and tried to tear her clothes off at a party while the boys attended Georgetown Prep in suburban Washington DC around 1982, when she was 15 and he 17.

On Monday. Kavanaugh launched an aggressive campaign against the allegations, appearing on FOX to deny both accusations and using his virginity at the time as a defense.

Mr Kavanaugh denied he was 'at any such party'. He said he did not question that perhaps Ms Ford at some point in her life was sexually assaulted, 'but what I know is I've never sexually assaulted anyone.'

Mr Kavanaugh said it was possible he may have met Ms Ford at some time, but he said they were not friends and did not travel in the same social circles. He said he did not remember being at a party with her.

'I was not at the party described,' Mr Kavanaugh said.

Mr Kavanaugh was asked if there was any chance Ms Ford misunderstood an exchange between them.

'I have never had any sexual or physical activity with Dr Ford,' Mr Kavanaugh said. 'I've never sexually assaulted anyone, in high school or otherwise.'

On Ramirez, he added: 'I never did any such thing. If such a thing had happened, it would have been the talk of campus.'

Mr Roche said he wasn't close friends with Kavanaugh but he came to know him when they shared a 'two-bedroom unit in the basement of Lawrence Hall'.

'Despite our living conditions, Brett and I did not socialize beyond the first few days of Freshman year. We talked at night as freshman roommates do and I would see him as he returned from nights out with his friends. It is from this experience that I concluded that although Brett was normally reserved, he was a notably heavy drinker, even by the standards of the time, and that he became aggressive and belligerent when he was very drunk', he said.

'I did not observe the specific incident in question, but I do remember Brett frequently drinking excessively and becoming incoherently drunk.'

Last night, lawyer Michael Avenatti said he would soon reveal a third woman who is ready to accuse the embattled Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.

Stormy Daniels' lawyer, who appeared on CNN and MSNBC after being in court representing the porn star who allegedly had sex with President Donald Trump, also blasted Kavanaugh for claiming that he could not have committed sexual misconduct in his youth because he was a virgin in high school.

On MSNBC Monday night, Avenatti told host Rachel Maddow that his mystery client could conceivably bring criminal charges and that he would reveal her identity within the next two days.

Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti told Rachel Maddow of MSNBC on Monday that he will reveal a third woman who is ready to accuse Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct

Avenatti says the woman will 'literally risk her life' by going public.

The lawyer said the woman is '100 per cent credible' and is willing to take a polygraph if Kavanaugh does as well.

Avenatti said that the woman, who once worked for the U.S. Mint and the State Department, has information about Kavanaugh and his childhood friend, Mark Judge.

'It will relate to how they behaved at countless house parties,' Avenatti told USA Today earlier in the day.

He says there will be 'many, many' corroborating witnesses to confirm the woman's account. He also poured scorn on Kavanaugh's claims he was a virgin throughout the time he is accused of misconduct.

Kavanaugh, meanwhile, went on national television on Monday to deny any inappropriate sexual behavior. He told Fox News in an interview broadcast Monday that he 'always treated women with dignity and respect.' He is seen with wife Ashley Kavanaugh during the interview

'I just think it's absolutely unbelievable,' Avenatti said.

'And I think the American people are smarter than this.

'You cannot reconcile the individual on Fox News with the individual that was joined at the hip with Mark Judge throughout the years at issue.

'You just can't. I don't believe that America is going to believe what Brett Kavanaugh just stated on Fox News.

'So, what exactly is he saying? Is he saying that he did not have sexual intercourse?'

Avenatti continued: 'Are we going to get into a definition of sexual intercourse?

'Does that mean he performed oral sex or had oral sex performed on him?

'Does that mean any host of any other sexual activities occurred?

'Or does he want America to believe that the only thing that he did until well into his college years was effectively kissed or French kissed a woman? Is that what he wants America to believe?'

Despite our living conditions, Brett and I did not socialize beyond the first few days of freshman year. We talked at night as freshman roommates do and I would see him as he returned from nights out with his friends.

'I became close friends with Debbie Ramirez after we both arrived at Yale. She stood out as being exceptionally honest, with a trusting manner. As we got to know one another, I discovered that Debbie was very worried about fitting in. She felt that everyone at Yale was very rich, very smart and very sophisticated and that as a Puerto Rican woman from a less privileged background she was an outsider. Her response was to try hard to make friends and get along.

'Based on my time with Brett, I believe that he and his social circle were capable of the actions that Debbie described.

'I do not consider myself to be a political person and I have no political agenda. I have shared this information with a small number of reporters who reached out to me directly because Debbie has a right to be heard and I believe her.

'I have been asked for more detail and additional stories, but this is all that I am comfortable sharing. If I could contribute more first-hand information, I would, but I will be granting more interviews or answering any more questions at this time.'

‘Brett Kavanaugh stood up under oath and lied about his drinking and about the meaning of words in his yearbook,’...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
