«Breaking News» Twitter user spots accidental 'bonus protein' in celebrity chef's recipe photo

Recipe photos in cookbooks are meant to have us salivating - but one particular photo has had the opposite effect.

Nadia Lim, 34, a celebrity chef from New Zealand, recently released her latest cookbook, 'Fresh Start, Feel Good', but there was one minor mishap spotted in one of the recipe images.

According to a tweet from one New Zealand-based reporter, the photo of the avocado toast recipe includes extra piece of seasoning - a fly.

Taking to Twitter the reporter shared the photo and said it hadn't been photoshopped.

'Nadia Lim's "Fresh Start, Feel Good" is a great cook book. But I'm not sure about her seasoning on this avo on toast recipe,' the original poster captioned the photo.

He accompanied his tweet with an image from the book, with the fly circled so everyone can easily spot it.

It's unclear as to whether the fly appeared in the photo during the original shoot or whether it was accidentally edited in before the book went to print.

'Bit of bonus protein?' one commenter joked. 

'I mean, extra seasoning aside, that's not a recipe... It's avo on toast with tomato and chicken,' said another.

One Twitter user joked that using a fly in a meal signalled a 'new age' of cooking. 

Nadia is known as the self-proclaimed 'Nude Cook' as she is an advocate of natural, unprocessed foods, and creates healthy, nutritious recipes by putting a health focus behind food,

Her career has been heavily influenced by her background as a clinical dietitian.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
