«Breaking News» Terrifying moment huge 52 car freight train derails in front of shocked drivers in Canada

This is the terrifying moment a huge 52 car freight train derailed in front of shocked drivers on a crossing in Canada

Shocking dashcam footage shows the carriages, carrying grain, beginning to fall from the tracks as cars wait for it to pass.

Miraculously no one was injured in the incident after it was filmed in Saskatoon, Canada.

The footage begins with cars pulling up to stop as the CN train comes into view and passes across the road.

A number of the carriages travel on without trouble but towards the middle of the train they begin to wobble and dust is thrown up from the ground.

The locomotive then begins to derail and carriages pile up on top of one another as the nearby vehicles back up to safety surrounded by black clouds.

Eyewitness Rachel Baird said: 'It was kicking up some snow and I thought, 'Gosh, this thing is going to tip. And then sure enough it slowly tips over.

'Of course next one, the next one, three or four just tip over but then they're piling into each other just like a movie. It was pretty wild.'

Fire crews were called to the incident near Warman on Tuesday morning.

They say 30 cars were derailed in the incident and that a fire broke out.

The woman who shot the footage said she felt the crash in her car and that the sound was louder than her microphone picked up.

Saskatoon Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Wayne Roger told CTV Saskatoon during the incident: 'We have a fire that's flowing. The liquid fuel, the diesel, is actually flowing and igniting at the same time so it provides some additional challenge to control that.'

He added: 'All I'm aware of is that there was 30 that left the track. And they were pretty much kind of accordioned side by side all across the roadway.'

Mayor of nearby Warman Sheryl Spence told CBC: 'We need to be thankful and grateful that there was no injuries and that it's being cleaned up so quickly.'

By Wednesday all the derailed cars had been taken away and a clean-up operation was in place to repair the track.

A CN spokesperson said: 'CN apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this incident.'

Transportation Safety Board investigators are now working to find the cause of the accident.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
